Biography - Hans Larsen
Hans Larsen is a Professional Engineer and holds a masters degree in
chemical engineering. He developed a lifelong interest in biochemistry
and nutrition through his early studies with Professor Henrik Dam, the
Nobel Prize-winning discoverer of vitamin K. Later he honed his
abstracting skills by abstracting for Chemical Abstracts, the
world's largest abstracting service.
After a successful career in research and development Hans developed a
keen interest in alternative medicine and the biochemistry and effects
of natural antioxidants. Hans is active in the Canadian health
community and is the author of numerous articles and several books
dealing with health-related issues. He lives happily and healthy in
Victoria with Judith, his wife of 35 years. Hans is a firm believer in
the benefits of proper nutrition, exercise and judicious
supplementation. He keeps in shape by hiking, kayaking and a daily Qi
Gong session.
Hans Larsen started International Health News in 1991 and
by now has built up a sizeable core of dedicated subscribers all over
the world. International Health News established its presence
on the World Wide Web in November 1994. The Afib Report began publication in 2001 as a
means of disseminating Hans Larsen's research on lone atrial fibrillation.
