Creating a profile: Anyone can read posts, but you need to register by creating a profile in order to reply to a post or to make a new post. To create a profile click on the "Create a Profile" link at the top right hand corner. Once you have created a profile and have received approval as a member of the forum you will have full access to the forum using your chosen username and password.
Replying to post: Click on the post you wish to respond to and then on the button marked "Reply". Enter your reply, preview it and then click on "Post Message".
Introducing a new topic: Click on "New Topic" at the top left hand corner of the list of posts. Provide an appropriate description of the subject you wish to discuss in the "Subject" box and then enter details in the large box. It is a good idea to click on "Preview" to proof read your message before clicking on "Post Message". If your topic is not directly related to atrial fibrillation please post it in the General Health Forum.
Editing your posts: You can edit your post anytime by clicking on the "Edit" link at the bottom of the message area.
Searching the Board: You can search for posts by a particular author or relating to a specific subject by clicking on the "Search" button at the upper right hand corner. You can search by author, keyword(s), phrases, individual forums or all forums and by time period.
Private Messages: You can send a private message to any registered member of the Board by clicking on the [PM] button next to the member’s user name.
RSS Feed: The "RSS Feed" feature provides a listing of recent posts in the order they were received. You can subscribe (free) to this service by clicking on the "RSS Feed" button at the top of the page.
Important note: Advertising and posts regarding religion and politics are not allowed and will be deleted. In addition, as an AFIB education, support an advocacy forum, we encourage only courteous and respectful communication between posters on the forums. Willful violation of these guidelines can be grounds for suspension of posting privileges. We appreciate your cooperation.
