Hey Bart, I don't know much about it, and I certainly can't give you medical diagnosis, but some of the key things that look good to me are: 1.) P waves are present 2.) R to R looks really consistent I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure other more knowledgeable forum members will give you a better reading. Best wishes. Hope you have a good holiday weekend. Congrats!! Glad you are doing so well. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
LOL....no Keurig in my room......glad you are in great spirits and doing well. The chest discomfort will disappear in a few days. The steady beat of NSR will outweigh any temporary pain you have. Congrats! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm glad that your post ablation recovery continues to go well. I'm sorry about the difficulties your daughter is going through, but hopefully that can be resolved quickly. You and your family are in my prayers! Best wishes. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Don't despair.....just hang on.....it's coming! Just around the corner! I thought a "P" wave was a requirement of NSR??? Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
from Shirley.....rhythms are good.....stop the Eliquis. Yippee. I'm a week shy of 4 months, which will be 5/27/15. Everything still continues to be fine. I have occasionally noticed a PAC on my AliveCor, but that is apparently pretty normal for everyone. No abnormal rhythms since week 2. I've started exercising more strenuously, but in interval Tabata style and super slow weby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Good luck tomorrow, Paul. We will all be thinking of you! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats on 5 years of NSR............I hope it continues well for you. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Best wishes, my friend! I'm sure it will turn out well for you! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats Susan! Glad you are doing so well. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
David, I had a somewhat similar experience after my 1/27/15 ablation. I had my first irregular tachy episode on day 6, followed by a few more concerning tachy sessions over the next week----I now believe they were all simply related to sensitivity after the ablation. They quickly subsided but they all occurred immediately after an eating episode so I was determined to have that checked out.by kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Ashley, I'm sorry things aren't going perfectly for you. The first thing I suggest to you is to lay off of the exercise for at least the first three months, longer if possible. I don't think jogging at six weeks is such a great idea while your heart is still healing. Give yourself a break for at least another 6 weeks. I'm sure Jackie/George/Shannon and/or othersby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats, Travis. I am so happy for you that things have gone so well. I'm surprised that you are off the Eliquis, even though you never had an irregular beat. I was under the impression that everyone took that for the full six month blanking period, regardless. It's been a little over three months for me, but I did have some tachy irregularites for a few days in the first and sby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
The instructions from Natale's office to me was to stop the Flecainide 5 days before ablation and stop the Metoprolol 3 days before ablation......so that the afib would be running rampant..........and be easily identifiable. Your assigned nurse will give you specific instructions for when to stop each medication. If unsure, call or email them. Best wishes on 5/22. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks, Peggy. Pretty impressive results.....from the article.....this is from following 15,000 people. "Over three years, there were six confirmed cases of shingles in the vaccinated group and 210 among the placebo group. Over all, the vaccine was 97.2 percent effective, with no variation in efficacy by age. The currently used vaccine, Zostavax, made by Merck & Co., is 70 percent efby kls5834 - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

alangford, Oh, how I appreciate your enthusiasm........and how I wanted to do the same.....but again, I encourage you to take the advice of all the people who are so much wiser and experienced than you and I.....and take it easy for a bit longer......especially when it comes to heavy squats and your bench. I wish you well.......but I would prefer you take it a little easier than you are doiby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Greetings to all friends, counselors and fellow afibbers, Just a short note to recognize my 3 month anniversary (yesterday, 4/27/15) from my Natale ablation in Austin. Other than the blips I experienced during the first two weeks, all things have gone well. I've managed to quell any strenuous exercise up to this point, even though I have sneaked in a few light workouts. That is goingby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ashley, I had a lot of the similar bloating feeling---it was always right beneath my sternum. It felt like there was a tennis ball under there. On the 6th day post ablation, after eating a large dinner during the Super Bowl, I had a tachy attack. I attributed it to the sensitivity of my system from the stress of the ablation and general blanking period issues. Over the next few days, it haby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Monty, I understand your feelings about not wanting an invasive procedure. When I was diagnosed with Afib, I was dead set against it. Unfortunately, my burden continued to grow and there was nothing I could do that had a positive impact on it. I truly believe ablation was my last chance. My words are certainly not meant to pressure you nor offend. I'm only sharing my experience andby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Extremely well said, Shannon. I wholeheartedly concur. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Monty, I can only speak for my experience, but it is very similar to most who travel to see Natale at St. David's Medical Center. They are all true professionals. Natale's staff moves like clockwork. You have a nurse who is specifically assigned to you. I can pick up the phone or email her today and get an immediate response. The experience at St. David's is equally finby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
OK, I'll bite. All points are well taken. However, it isn't that easy to find the root cause. If we could find the root cause easily, none of us would be here talking about cures and/or ablations. After diagnosis, I immediately cut out the commonly known culprits----alcohol, caffeine---gone! I started using my CPAP every night. Thyroid function in range. Over the next year, Iby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for sharing, Jackie. It coincides with lots of information recently discussed here. Hope all is well with you! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Monty, I can only suggest what Shannon always says----the heart is a very delicate organ. Try to find the best ablationist you can. I went to Natale for a 1/27/15 ablation. My afib was diagnosed on 1/14/14 and continued to progress, much like you described, but at a quicker pace. I tried Flecainide at varying doses but none of them worked well. Prior to the ablation, I was almost alwaby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM

JMcNasby, Glad you are doing well after 8 weeks. I hope things continue to improve for you. Glad the Tikosyn is helping you. Hopefully you will be able to toss it after your blanking period, along with the Eliquis. Thanks for the report. Keep us informed. Best wishes. Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
