Chukker - while it's true that the HR can remain elevated post ablation for quite some time... you can help support both the energy factor required for normal rhythm and reduce inflammation resulting from the insult of the burns. If you were using the Essential Trio protocol prior to ablation, you can go back on that to help stabilize and support. After mine, I started my supplement proby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Perfect, Nancy - I can't imagine a day w/o essential oils. ; )by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
John - yes - that's correct... the Omega 3 fish oils help soften and repair the outer cell membranes and restore receptor functionality. It takes a while but it definitely is proven to work. Reduces inflammation at the same time so for afibbers, Omega 3's are one of the basic essentials... actually, for everyone and not just afibbers. Neroli.. Your post is most definitely disturbing. I'm so very sorry you've had to endure so much. I can't comment on your anticoagulation complications as I've not much personal experience other than to say warfarin gave me a lot of problems when I did have to use it for about 2 months total, before and after ablation. (Shannon is traveling and will probably see your emailby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tom - the Exatest is not a point in time evaluation... as it directly reflects what's inside the cardiac cells... Serum blood values are the point in time assessments for electrolytes such as potassium, sodium. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well, then, Nancy...Wonderful- Great to see that..... I hope you have Lavender in your arsenal... Every afibber needs Lavender for relaxing. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Louise... the magnesium oil is not at all off topic...in fact, it's been a topic of discussion on and off for many years. Many people find that form is more tolerable either used alone as the topical or in combination with oral supplements. Another topical delivery (transdermal) form is soaking either just your feet or your whole body in magnesium sulfate (Epsom Salts)... warm water and aby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
The scientific findings of Richard Moore's research have been known for a very long time and largely ignored or obscured from being promoted to the public as a preventive measure. Seems an injustice that a method for avoiding or curing hypertension should be a kept a secret all these years. My opinion has always been that Moore's publisher added the dietary plan to make the bookby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Caitlin - That seems to be the world today... they add fillers and junk when it's not needed... and since there is not a strict standard for quality control, purity and truth in labeling... many such instances occur with supplements. The Jarrow is a reliable brand as are many others from bottlers here in the US...but not all...so we have to be careful and diligent at all times.. I realizby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Nancy... I really doubt if the small amount of sodium in that spray would contribute to a sodium overload or even enough to imbalance your potassium. A tip for opening up nasal passages is to use one drop of the Essential of Plant... Eucalyptus oil...in the palm of one hand, rub palms together and cup both over your nose and breathe in just a little bit until you become accustomed to the potby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
It depends on what articles you read. The aging population is only part of the story. More and more younger people are being diagnosed with arrhythmias as a result of the obesity epidemic and the blood imbalances that come with that. More and more afib is being traced to the fluoridated water and related iodine deficiency. Fluoride (a poison) interfers with function of the iodine transportersby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Louise - Sorry if my comments were confusing or vague. Dosing of supplements varies and often the labels do give proper instructions. Some supplements are better taken 'on empty' and some supplements should be taken in the morning because they can be too energizing when taken later in the day...example B vitamins. CoQ10 needs to be taken in the morning with a fatty meal because iby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Colin - Thanks so much for your Ginger success report. I've used Ginger Root Tea for years just because I enjoy it and always forget to acknoweledge the afib benefits. I'm so pleased it works well for you. Best to you, Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Marty - hidden or repressed emotional trauma is very damaging as you know. It's good to acknowledge your history and take steps to deal with it as keeping it 'festering' offers you nothing but the downhill slide in terms of overall health. Childhood trauma and abuse remain with us forever but we can learn to deal with the outcroppings so that they are no longer an active part ofby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Larry - I'm just another former afibber trying to help newbie's sort out their problems and help reverse AF naturally if they are interested in going that route.. becaise the science tells us that fundamentally, the core nutrients that the heart needs to support energy production and conduction are often missing and that deficiency sets the stage for the arrhythmia to begin. Liz - once you make the WW concentrate, the magnesium hydroxide is dissociated and blends into magnesium bicarbonate -- a concentrate which is then added to water...and the result is very diluted. It's no different than what's sold commercially as the patented Unique Water or Noah's water from California so it's definitely not 'poison' or highly inclined to causeby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ron - as far as the actual stay... it's typically an overnight stay assuming all goes well. When people travel to Dr. Natale and Bordeaux they've indicated that they are advised to stay for 5 days or so to be sure they are doing well and can travel without incident. Several of those going to Bordeaux have reported they added on a week or so and did some sightseeing. Several of thosby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Alex - I don't see the need to take huge amounts of any supplement if you don't know why you need it. There should be a plan in place based on an assessment of some type. Absent that, you have no clue whether you are putting extra stress on your body just trying to process all that you take in besides that in food. Hello Gay - I'm so sorry to read of your multiple problems. On the Pradaxa concerns, use the online search feature for Pradaxa and read all the posts offered by Shannon on these new anticoags that don't have antidotes. Liz - using the WW for cooking does not change the taste...in fact, if anything, improves everything because it really 'mellows' out the water and gives it a really 'smooth' taste...at least for mine. Larry - You can publish your test results here and we can offer a 'guess' but because those are serum... they don't reflect what's inside the cells.... however, if you are low in the serum ranges, then you'll be low intracellularly. Larry - keep in mind that the serum magnesium numbers on traditional labs do not reflect what's inside heart cells. The Exatest provides all the intracellular levels of the critical electrolytes and more importantly, gives the ratio of the influential combinations... ie, Calcium to Magnesium, Sodium to Potassium... and from that, then we can determine if an imbalance is contributing to arrby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Liz - the benefits of adequate hydration are well known... but the mention of using the Magnesium Bicarbonate water offers not only the chance to take in some very bioavailable magnesium, but most importantly, the bicarbonate or alkalizing factor which has far-reaching effects on overall health and healing and for afibbers, that important connection to alkalility... as discussed in the Alkalinitby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Louise...In don't know if this will help you distinguish your form of heart activity, but in my history of afib for 8 years prior to ablation, I had occasion to be monitored either by ECG or formally be attached to the electronic monitoring while in the hospital which gave me more opportunities than I care to remember to look at the strip or screen and learn to associate my physical symptomby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Marty - It's often the best tactic to stop everything and introduce back one by one the various supplements... separately so you can identify the culprits if they exist.
