Robert - I do qualify as an old timer, both in terms of age and participation here on the forum, My experience with homeopathics for AF has been disappointingly unsuccessful. (I rather hate to see those instructions even referenced, although possibly for some individuals, it may be useful.) At one time, I was formally treated by a homeopath without results. While I think some homepathic therapby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Larry - looks like a good plan and I totally agree that getting as much as you can of both magnesium and potassium from food sources is preferable, although often difficult... you should push the magnesium until you reach the tissue saturation/bowel tolerance signal. If you are a waster, then you may not get close, but over time you'll undoubtedly note if you are able to reach saturationby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Afibbers who start taking in a lot of sodium via sodium bicarbonate or baking soda, are apt to unbalance their potassium so beware of alaklizing by this method. You can do just as well with making and drinking the WW or as George N does, drinking the concentrate, to get alkaline very quickly. Sodium competes with (and wins) over potassium...and it's not sodium that keeps your heart inby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
If you go by the Tennant (Healing is Voltage) observations that cells are 70% water and the determination for optimal function of cells is pH which equates to voltage, then having heart cells (or any cells other than gastric) that are acidic would be a detriment rather than a positive influence. He says: Drinking alkaline water is one of the great ways to raise your voltage since the cells arby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
McHale - no doubt you are benefiting from the increased pH which equates to increased voltage... as explained in that post on Alkalinity, pH, voltage, etc. This is definitely the way to go. Glad you are enjoying success. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Erling - My intention was to go for the alkalizing effect to increase voltage. Quite sure I wasn't low in magnesium. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Monty - read all the recent posts about pH, alkalizing and drinking the magnesium bicarbonate water (WW)... inflammation is definitely reduced by consuming this water. Omega 3 fish oils 4 - 6 grams also work extremely well. Further Mostos - Read the post on Silent Inflammation... Lots of good antiinflammatory tips offered there. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Perfect, Gill... have a great vacation!!! Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Gay - when you find a combination that works for you, I'd stick with that. Congratulations. Best to you, Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks George... I realize 1/2 oz is small. I decided to start very low to experiment with efficacy. Since you take 12 oz of the concentrate daily, are you at all concerned about your bicarbonate levels? Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Murray - it is definitely raising the tissue pH and drinking alkaline waters that helps relieve arthritic joint pain. RA pain is immune response inflammatory triggered and it may help with that as well, but the experience I've seen reported for is osteoarthritis help. Be sure to watch the video clip with Dr. Beckett. Jackieby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Larry - this is such a valuable indicator. I'm so glad you were able to do the test. Now you know your focus and what needs to be improved. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Justine - first thing I thought of. I don't perspire so potassium loss didn't flash through my mind immediately. While I don't expect that I'll have a similar, repeat performance anytime soon, If it does occur, I'll use a complete cocktail of all the essentials including ribose. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Exercise is a source of free-radical production ( ROS – reactive oxygen species) – and free radical damage…. which in turn causes inflammation. When the vagus is exposed continually, it’s going to become irritated unless antioxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients are plentiful. When you really get into facts about soy consumption in the Asian countries, they use it as a condiment, and the amount consumed by most is actually very small... The book, The Whole Soy Story... While I have only done this once, I definitely will try again if the opportunity comes up. I was wrestling with a stubborn project in a hot garage, feeling frustrated and getting worn out. While I had been hydrating regularly, I hadn’t eaten in a while and thought perhaps I was getting light headed. No. It was a run of quick and skipping heart beats in my otherwise, typically rock-solid heartby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ken - that's very important advice about the anticoag if going for colonoscopy. Many years ago with my first scan, I was taking aspirin daily for muscle pain. No one told me to stop at least a week or more prior to the scan. As it turned out there were two polyps removed. That night, I had accumulated a lot of blood leaking from the excisions which was expelled into the toilet. Imagingby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Robert - the natto food is from fermented soy beans...(high phytoestrogen content)...not recommended in any significant quantity for males due to the increased estrogen intake. That may (in part) lead to muscle complications. Another phytoestrogen found in red clover (Promensil) is known to cause muscle pain and weakness symptoms in women when used as hormone replacement...among other adverse eby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Commenting on the prevalence of colon cancer - Over the years in my practice of clinical dental hygiene and reviewing patient health histories, I've known a dozen or so patients out of 3-4,000 over a 25-year span and have had two friends develop it, caught early and 'cured'... All of the patients and friends were those who never were exposed to much sunshine. There is consideraby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

The Reports are in the Conference Room Section (see the top of the page) Here’s a bit of a review about the history of Nattokinase and then, of course, the Meridian Valley Presentation by Dr. Holsworth which details the importance of monitoring blood viscosity presented December, 2011. Tom - just be sure that you use the electrolyte-sparing bowel prep or you may have AF as a result. Because I had some polyps that were removed, I had annual colonoscopies for about 7 years. I learned the hard way not to do any other prep than the Colyte or GoLitely. Jackieby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Robert - when I researched the use of nattokinase for afibbersand mainly for myself, I sought out technical advice from several of the manufacturers who were introducing it at the time.. I connected with the physician who was not only using it successfully in his practice but also who collaborates with Dr. Sumi et al (Ralph Holsworth, DO) and he edited my contributions to our forby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Robert - it's always good to post your personal experiences since we are all just 'experiments of one.'...and it could also be that you have a sensitivity to soy and that's the NK connection. Tom B... regarding the pinching or 'impingement'.... I can relate to bending over and AF. While I was mostly vagal with events at night, quite often, during the day while bending over from the waist to put my tee in the ground would bring on AF. Kate - a quick comment...the form of magnesium citrate typically has a laxation effect for many people and you won't be able to get enough inside the cells where it functions. The recommended form for efficacy is the chelated amino acid version, Magnesium Glycinate... look on the label to see the words, Albion Patent or Process.
