Mike - I'm glad you are able to do the IM injections. From what I know of those using IM's.. and doing it themselves, it takes several a week and over a long duration to get to a stable repletion. Consider, too, that if you have ongoing exposure to magnesium depleters such as high stress, sugar, alcohol etc... and now we know wireless or WiFi exposure allows Mg leakage from cells,....by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Lynn - I'm very sorry to learn of your friend. Do you know if she kept regular tabs on her fibrinogen levels? Or if she had any other conditions that contribute to clotting like diabetes or a high homocysteine level? Also, if the daily dosage was the 6000 mg and the brand name? Anything you can learn and post would be useful information for those who are elderly, active afibbers. Iby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Richard... The obvious concern is anything that thins the blood and causes more bleeding than normal. For my heart ablation, I used magnesium, potassium, taurine and vitamin C right up to the fasting period and resumed again about 12 hours later when I was able to move around the hospital room without assistance. I did not advertise what I had done for the obvious reasons. And, indcidentalby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Murray - in the post titled The Final Frontier ... Energy Healing - Reversing Atrial Fibrillation... toward the end of that thread, I mentioned the important use of the magnesium bicarbonate water... check that. Undoubtedly, the water you found is similar to or may even be the Unique Water from Australia that Erling mentions. There is also a natural, magnesium water sold out of California bby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tom - thanks for your comments. I was talking with a friend who is like-minded on this topic and her observation was that even though the advice is incorrect and often damaging, they still get paid. In another field, if the work was flawed, payment would not be automatic. For those with systemic, chronic infections that aren't 'cured' by antibiotics, long-term treatment with pby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
The study may be suspect but as I responded to George, the AA to EPA ratio is not suspect and should be a consideration for all. High AA levels are damaging. Each individual has different metabolic results.by Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Murray - I'm so pleased that you are in the care of Dr. Verma and that you are responding so well to Tikosyn. Have a nice break but do remain diligent. Best to you! Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
That's quite a story, Tom.... and for the most part, your sentiments echo mine about the majority of conventional medicine MDs. For ten years, I have been fortunate to be in the care of a Family Practice MD, board certified, who is also certified in the practice of Functional Medicine and a holistic MD for five prior to that. The FM assessment of illness is both different and and refresby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sue the supplements don't typically work instantly or without without collective changes in the many areas that all go together (work synergistically) in your "matrix".... the monitor may be useful but it certainly won't be a cure and it definitely will not replete the missing nutrients that cause the arrhythmia in the first place. As explained to me by Dr. Natale.....Sometimes, the burns are not deep enough or complete enough to destroy every little tendril or nerve fiber and they can regenerate. These can become active enough to cause irregular beats and be a nuisance. Some, actually cause recurrent afib and the "touch up" procedure is needed.. which is actually a second ablation procedure made to sound somewhby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Nick - Paleo can make all the difference. The best way to know for sure is go strict Paleo for a couple months and note the difference. Since Gluten is eliminated with Paleo eating, many people are surprised to also eliminate AF because they are gluten sensitive although not Celiacs. Dairy can be another culprit which is also eliminated with Paleo eating. The two sensitivities are often liby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
John - I'm glad your heart remained calm. I can relate to your emotional state. Let's hope this was an isolated AF event and that you'll not experience another, but keep in mind all that we say about the importance of magnesium and potassium along with low sodium so that you aren't triggered again. Lon - I have low platelet count (but not officially thrombocytopenia) and warfarin was always a huge problem for me when it was required. For that reason, I chose not to use warfarin or aspirin regularly during my 8 year AF journey prior to ablation. Post ablation, I was reluctantly on warfarin for 6 weeks and then switched back again to Nattokinase. I don't see much in the literature fby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Leo - the IM injections are definitely worth doing.. look back at the posts by Shannon and Steve Ortega - they both have done will with IM magnesium that they do themselves. Regarding stress... there are all types of stress... often you may not even be aware of the stressors, but it still works to deplete Mg. Sleep issues are typically caused by lack of Mg. McHale... my heart goes out to both of you. I'm so glad that you're pleased with the care from the medical staff. That really helps in a difficult situation. In addition to easily adding those healing and anti-aging electrons by Earthing or grounding techniques along with taking supplemental mineral and antioxidants, another very easy but extremely beneficial method is the regular consumption of the magnesium bicarbonate water that we can easily make ourselves at home very inexpensively. Tom – We all know the fallacy about measuring cholesterol and meeting a specific number. However, regarding blood viscosity, if you are pumping sludge, then the risk of stroke or MI is obviously higher. Testing is the only way to determine where you stand. Nick - it works for me... and the key is managing the 4:1 potassium to sodium ratio once the IC magnesium is optimized.... and I really need the high dose CoQ10. If The Strategy hadn't worked, I'd probably be considering a second ablation and since I never wanted the first, that option wasn't attractive at all.
