May - I didn't think that at all. Quite often, people who have managed to tolerate a high carb diet for years, suddenly find they have reactions later in life and it's typically a sign that individual may be flirting with or has actually become insulin resistant. It's just good preventive maintenance to check on that status with those labs as a preliminary investigation. Let us kby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
May - Most likely, the pizza was the culprit... high carb plus other chemicals in the sausage and pepperoni... plus, typically, pizza is very high salt.... if you are low on potassium to begin with, then adding a salty meal can definitely cause arrhythmia. High carbs quickly deplete two key electrolytes - magnesium and potassium. The added sodium in the pizza just compounds the problem. Whenby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
May - can you recall what was in the meal you ate just prior to the fatigue and event? Very often, a high-carb meal and then a sugary dessert will set off an afib event and fatigue from the carbs in one of the first signs that your blood sugar crashes... then comes the adrenaline surge etc. Have you done a dietary assessment to determine your potassium intake from food versus how much sodium wby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Justine - in the past reports on Nattokinase use, it is recommended for active afibbers or anyone at risk of clots, take a dose every 8 hours to be sure they are covered 24/7 (or the 6000 FU dosage). If not an active afibber, then taking the nightly dose is the most critical because clots tend to form in the early morning hours so that's when you want the protection. When Joel Wallach began his tours around the country probably 20 years ago, he had some fascinating observations to share. One was that selenium prevented cardiomyopathy. It should be comforting to know, George, you aren't sensitive to the toxic frequencies. The current concerns are that without testing, many people who are mildly toxic to these frequencies are still accumulating the damaging effects but they won't know until much later when the manifestations show up as other symptoms. Justine - My experience over the years is that the site of Sahelian's often gives either confusing or incorrect information... Nattokinase works to reduce fibrinogen and thereby lower blood viscosity so the risk of clotting easily is significantly reduced. Nanci - I'm very sorry to read about your health situation. You may find that learning your fibrinogen and Cardiac C-reactive protein levels by testing will be helpful in reducing the tendency for blood to clot. High fibrinogen is directly related to blood viscosity - thicker blood tends to clot more easily. Inflammation (C-reactive protein) helps promote clotting as well. At the same time, jot down your the sodium content and do the math for the ratio.
