Mike - a good (reliable) nattokinase product will be free of vitamin K. But because K2 MK7 is so important in preventing arterial calcification, it's always smart to take the extra supplement in that form. From Hans website and recommendations, there are several product options. I've always been impressed with the Jarrow brand. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Faith - typical directions say Calcium to Magnesium ratio should be 2:1... However, for afibbers, it should be more like 1:1 since if calcium dominates the cell then the excitatory property of calcium takes over. Keep the cells operational and relaxed with more magnesium than calcium. You will be limited by the bowel tolerance issues of magnesium but if you can ramp up dosing of magnesium toby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Because I never wanted an ablation, I was still determined to 'cure' it by natural means and embarked on a concerted effort to find something that would eliminate the ablation. That sounds reasonable when you think about the purpose of accupuncture so it becomes a balancing act... try the treatments, ride out the AF and hope the end result accomplishes a better energy path and helps to normalize your heart. On the D3 dosing... those here in the US discussing it for seasonal protection say at a very minimum - 5000 IU daily and to include the vitamin K2 MK7 along with it (50 - 100 mcg). The advice is that if you do start to be symptomatic with the flu, then dose with (D3) 50,000IU daily for 3 days. Last year, those following that directiveby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thank you Bill - I'm glad you are doing better. Just as a note of caution, though, don't be adding significant amounts of supplemental calcium as that can definitely compete with magnesium and typically, it will be the dominant mineral which is not what afibbers need as it is excitatory to heart cells.
