Thomas... I've seen various recommendations, typically 200iu with each dose of fish oil to a max of 800 iu a day. I use 400 Gamma E in the morning with the first dose of fish oil and then for the evening, I switch to the Tocotrienol form of vitamin E for the evening dose and use 100 mg of that for its other special properties. May - The clot obviously disappeared. The cardioversion came first. A week later, I had the CT scan to rule out stenosis but the actual radiology report that contained the statement about the LAA clot wasn't flagged so I didn't find out about it until much later when I received a copy and saw the notation. I called the EP then and we all assumed that the nattokinase had done it'by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Rich - while adding honey or sugar to your water during exercise works for you, it really is not considered useful for afibbers because in order to metabolize the sucrose molecules, it requires the use of both magnesium and potassium... something we strive to spare and keep at optimal levels. Curt - yes - your sleep patterns become important as indicators that neurotransmitters are imbalanced. You might start with using some 5 HTP. I've posed on it numerous times and there are several good books on the topic... I'll send you by email some of the links and posts. You probably will need some help with balancing the neurotransmitters as a result of testing. This isn'tby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Lesley, My heart goes out to you with all you have endured with the lupus and then to have to deal with failed ablations. I do hope you are helped by the new medication. If you haven't been told, you need to be aware that anyone with an antibody response... and lupus is such a response...needs to be on a strict gluten/gliaden free diet. Dirk - either one are effective. Depends on what's available to you in your area. Here in the US, potassium by law is only in 99 mg capsules or tablets. We found a bulk powder product from NOW brands through Hans' iherb web vitamin connection... and the powder yields 540 mg in each teaspoon so that eliminates taking the multiple tablets. The only comment I've seen mentioned aby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Steve - if you are going to endure the inconvenience, expense, recovery time involved with an ablation, you want them to do both at the same time, if needed. Quite often, flutter covers up afib and if you only do the flutter, you'll be back soon for the second to get the afib. It makes no sense to have the double expense or... more importantly, the double exposure to anesthesia and the caby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
May - we all need to do plenty of our own research so that we have a good understanding about what we want to happen in our body as a result of various treatments offered. Because we have become such a litigious society, physicans are forced to cover all potential risks and unfortunately, that often means overmedicating as a result. Ron - warfarin definitely increases the risk of osteoporosis. ... one of many such published reports. Since it has been so long since your 'possible' TIA, it would seem to make sense to switch to nattokinase. Ask your doctor to run a fibrinogen test so you know where you stand with blood viscosity. Al - additonally - burping while or after eating indicates a tendency to gulp food and also air so there is more air in the stomach. Remedy is to eat more slowly and chew food until it becomes a liquid slurry. Not many people take the time to chew food thoroughly... the big chunks that reach the stomach are not easily broken down very quickly and may lie there and start to ferment causing pain,by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Isabelle... calcium isn't the only supplement that keeps bones healthy and in fact, magnesium, alone, is shown to increase bone density. I worry about afibbers taking in a high ratio of calcium to magnesium as discussed and supported in my Observational Report. Good observation, Erling. My thought is that - in addition to what you point out, the easiest and least expensive way to correct the phospholipid layer so cells can function properly is with generous intake of a pharmaceutical grade, molecularly distilled (pure) Omega 3 fish oil or essential fatty acid. As cells are then renewed with the new flexible envelope or outer layer, nutrients can easilby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
