Adam - I'm late in responding but I agree with the advice to consult with Dr. Natale. He's the best in the US and has great experience with failed ablations. No matter how long it takes to get in to see him, it's worth the wait. In the meantime, follow the good advice offered here to clear up your diet; watch out for suspect foods; avoid alcohol, sugar and chemical additives iby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
John - you should use it every day.... it's most effective using it just before and after exercise. 5 grams is one dose - try for 10 grams a day. Some people need 15 grams. I would start with one dose for a few days to be sure it isn't too stimulating for you. I often use 15 grams a day with no problems. I just would suggest that you not use it late in the day. George - thanks for this very interesting post. It's timely in that a recent announcement indicates statins may lower testosterone and libido. Not at all surprising as it is well known that statins interfere with the production of sex hormones. Expanding this a bit further, then, might there not be a connection between so many men on statins and now, low testosterone? If one views tby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tom - The advice has always been for males over the age of 18 and post-menopausal women, there is no need to take additional iron unless you have low hemoglobin or you are advised by your physician to do so. To supplement with no means of getting rid of excess is asking for trouble. (This is why it's not included in all multi's - it's a safe guard.) Some people have the genetiby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Barry - here in the US we have something called 'informed consent' which is is supposed to be explained by the doctor before he performs any procedure which explains fully to the patient the potential risks of the procedure as well as the costs involved. It does not actually absolve the doctor from all medico/legal liability. In other countries, it may be different. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sally - directions for an Epsom Salt soak suggest 2 cups of the powder in a warm bath for 30 minutes - two or 3 times a day. That sounds like a lot to me, so I'd start with 1 cup and only once a day or maybe twice a day. You can work up slowly to more if you think you notice an improvement. Judy - thanks for taking the time to verify this. It's just another instance of Rx versions supposedly being better than anything natural.... Heaven forbid! And as usual, many haven't bothered to take the time to research it completely...probably take some drug reps word for it. Sally - I realize that you may have difficulty finding the magnesium glycinate form, but keep in mind that magnesium citrate is used for laxatives. It is a larger molecule and not easily absorbed so the residuals are flushed out fairly rapidly.... it may not stay around long enough to be useful. Josiah - The Thieves brand is by Young Living. Much info on the Internet. Unfortunately, it's a MLM company and they have gotten extremely expensive as of late. I try to buy other oils when I can but rely on them for certain blends and for the Thieves oil and spray. However, oregano is the most powerful antimicrobial and you can't go wrong using just that. Hi Lance - Hard to believe 6 months has gone by. You might want to ask Dr. Natale what the stats are now for latent post-ablation breakthroughs after one or more years. I was surprised with some events during years 4 and 5 post ablation and it would be interesting to learn now that he has so much past history - over 4000 ablations - what the prevalence is at this point in time. Hopefully, yoby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sally - google the ingredients in the fruit squash... the sodium metabilulphite indicates it is most likely produced in China. Unless there is a purity check with the US distributor here, there may be some contamination issue. I ws trying to determine the amount of sodium that might be in that as well to see if it was enough to compete with your potassium stores. Sodium competes with (and winsby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Andrea - as I mentioned in the other thread on RYR, you must take supplemental CoQ10 since this form of statin also blocks CoQ10 production. I keep my HS CRP at a very low level (1 or less) with natural prododucts similar to the ingredients found in the product, Zyflamend, plus lots of curcumin and MSM (5000 mg daily). Obviously, it's a sign you are sensitive to something so you should reconsider using the higher concentration or dilute it down with a benign cream or something like organic jojoba oil. In Dr. Graveline's latest newsletter, he offers his usual keen observation about the use of statins. (Be sure to follow the links to his website and read both complete articles). It will be interesting to read more once they are operational. I'm always concerned that when restaurants say they are MSG free... what exactly does that mean? That they don't knowingly, intentionally, physically add MSG to their foods? Or that they scrutinize all of the ingredients that go into various dishes to be sure that there are no hidden forms of MSG included in sauces andby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Magnesium researcher Aileen Burford-Mason, PhD, says in one of her interviews that RGC magnesium is not a good long-standing indicator of Mg status. Magnesium just doesn't stay put in a red cell once the red cell is formed so it isn't a long-standing indicator of magnesium status... and it's only 1% of magnesium in blood. In addition to liver enzymes you should be mindful that statins block the production of Coenzyme Q10 and it becomes very important for everyone to know that. You can Google those terms and read more. Bill - yes that's the potassium number. You might consider trying to elevate that number somewhat. Also, your TSH is not awfully high, but still high enough to warrant attention as they like it below 2.0. Hypothyroid symptoms such as circulation and coldness do occur when your levels aren't right.
