Peter - I have Sarno's book and I totally agree it's worth reading and using the concepts. When I was on my quest to find the source of FM, I read many books on the topic. I consulted with a well known rheumatologist in the area and a neurologist. All they wanted to do was prescribe drugs that just masked the symptoms, didn't want to address the core cause. Mike the Essential Trio is targeted at electrolyte regulation inside heart cells and to stabilize rhythm. To break down fibrosis, one has to use the type of enzyme that is known to break down scar tissue. Serrapeptase is one enzyme. This is mentioned in several of the books on potassium and also in one of the studies authored either by Altura or Durlach. I don't have it at my fingertips. Sandy - yes, I had FM and CFS diagnosed prior to afib. Long after resolving my FM, I learned that d-ribose helps and had I had access to that early on in my afib career, I feel confident that it may have made a significant difference and even reversed the afib. I'd start using it immediately. Be sure it is labeled that as the patented version by BioEnergy/Corvalen. Hans has it on hisby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Most often, residents in Florida are not out regularly in the sun and without sunscreen (as Sam notes) and many are elderly as well - so tend to avoid the sun. No question... sulfites can be a trigger for some people. Sulfites occur naturally in the fermenting process so it's impossible to eliminate them completely... it's just that organic wine doesn't have additional sulfite added as a preservative.
