Janet - There is nothing to suggest that Paleo mans diet was not nutritious. On the contrary, their diet of plant foods, roots, berries, fruit, seeds, nuts and proteins provided an abundance of nutrients far better than todays empty-calorie foods provide. Their short life span is attributed to a harsh life and abundant danger from wild animals who considered them prey as well as the dangersby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Using a combination of folic acid and vitamins B12 and B6 can help to reduce homocysteine, which is good for cardiovascular health but a recent study found that using this same vitamin B combination can prevent and lessen the severity of migraine headaches in a certain segment of the population. Peggy - It may be that the tipple reflected in your INR... I have no knowledge of that for sure... but I do know that using NK does not reflect in your INR. So whether you have taken it or not won't make a difference in that measurement. It would be good to have another INR (without the tipple) and see what you level is. If still high, then something else is in the act. I've repoby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Dr. Jackman spoke of ablating the ganglia plexia when I heard him speak at the AF Summit held in Clevland in the Fall of '05. He was very positive about the outcomes at that time. dc - stevia is not sugar (glucose based) nor is it an artificial chemical... it's safe to use although some people feel the taste is a bit weird. I've used minor amounts of it for years with no problems and I'm used to the taste.. With stevia...less is definitely more. Start with a tiny amount and add to that. I've added it to Paleo "cookies" very successfully anby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

This means that sponsors of studies can pay ghostwriters to slant or bias the study publication toward a favorable view of their particular drug or device. Key facts can be suppressed. David - start with a low dose, like 500 mg daily for a few days to see if it sits well with you. Then increase to 1000 mg 2 or 3 times a day. Some here use 4 times a day or 4000 mg. If it bothers your stomach, then take with meals....doing so will only cut down slightly on the efficicacy. I buy the bulk powder....and just put a dose in my mouth and chew a bit; then wash down with water. Iby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Check Life Extension's website as well. They have testing services. Donating blood regularly helps reduce levels of ferritin. If you want to 'thin' your blood naturally, consider ginkgo biloba, Omega 3 fish oils, nattokinase - to reduce blood viscosity, anything that reduces inflammation; even magnesium helps because it reduces the tendency for platelet aggregation (clumping).by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Just keep in mind that the vitamin K they reference is the menaquinone 7 form or K2 MK7... that's the one that helps vitamin D direct calcium into the bones. Virtually everyone can benefit form vitamin D and MK7 because when you get the calcium going to bones where it belongs, it will help reverse and prevent arterial stiffness .... which leads to high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis etc.by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

L-Arginine May Promote Angiogenesis. So Make Sure This is What You Want in the Patient! We've often discussed the importance of knowing your CRP number and keeping it as close to zero as possible. Not long ago, an announcement said measuring CRP either wasn't useful or important. If you routinely eat lunch meat with no afib, then it probably wasn't the culprit. However, lunchmeat is loaded with salt, preservatives and most likely MSG...not considered a healthy food. Bananas are in the latex family. Might be a food sensitivity reaction. Also with the high glycemic index, ironically, they help deplete potassium in order to metabolize. I, too, can eat most anything after ablation. I choose not to do so because after eating 'clean' for so many years, it has just become a healthy habit with many benefits besides avoiding AF.
