Hi Chuck - Sorry to read this post. I don't know anything about the quality of the Purity products and if they are the last things you've recently added and then the problem surfaced, I'd definitely stop those products. As you've probably read here, some poeple have posted they can't take the fish oils. In some cases, that can be something about the brand (impurities)by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Robin - I think you should try taking small amounts at first but take it with food. If you get along with a small amount, then increase the dose gradually.... but wait a few days until the diarrhea stops so you don't compound the problem. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Joan - I'm very sorry about your mother. I'm sure the situation is dreadful for both of you. I'm not a physician and it's unwise for anyone other than your mother's physician to stop or start any drugs she's on.... however, I would push to get her off the zocor and add large doses of high quality Coenzyme Q10 to help with cellular energy (ATP). Statins are veryby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Paul - I could think of worse things on which to snack, but a lot is going to depend on how your system tolerates the acid. Some people get an outbreak of canker sores from too many tomatoes or strawberries when they load up on them seasonally. Also, be sure you wash them well because you don't want to pick up bugs and pesticide/fungicide residues if you do this every day. Another issuby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Aldona! Time does fly by. I'm so very pleased you are doing so well. You certainly deserve a wonderful life in NSR after all you went through. So glad to hear from you. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tibbar - your first question is one that we are waiting to see how that turns out. Some indications are that the ablated areas may grow back or new areas may surface. You may have missed my postings when after several years post-ablation, I have experienced AF breakthroughs. One series was 4 years post and the second was at almost 5 years. I joked that maybe my warrantee was running out. Tby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Paul - tomatoes are acidic. Some people get along with eating large amounts; others don't. Eating fresh, whole, real food is always healthy (and smart). As with anything, moderation is the key. I'd certainly add tomatoes to your diet but as Gordon says, you'd have to eat large amounts to reach the daily potassium requirements. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello Bob - It's good to see you posting again. How are you? Best regards, Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Pam - yes those are the symptoms... you feel like it's the flu.... mine went on for 11 days. Then I felt completely renewed. Just dont go back on anything that will feed the yeast and rev up what's left. Just keep taking the Candex and skip the apple...that has fruit sugar. The less you feed the yeast (starve it), the quicker you'll get rid of the majority of it. You cby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Phil - No - I didn't have any discomfort in the first place, but I went for treatment of the diaphragm because I was having bouts of hiccoughs which are not a normal occurrence. A spasm of the diaphragm produces hiccoughs and is a symptom of low magnesium. So I took a two-pronged approach - the adjustment treatment and more magnesium. It seemed to be miraculous. But, I didn't feby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Debbie - you are referring to Robert Schweikert in Akron. I'd be very comfortable going to him myself if it were not possible to see Dr. Natale. You can be sure that wherever Dr. Schwiekert is doing procedures, he will have everything exactly as he requires it. He's a top notch EP working along with Dr. Natale for many years at the CCF. I would choose him over Lindsay - but thatby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Mike for that testimonial. No doubt the mercury in fish...and possibly the other toxins such as PCBs and dioxins also contaminating fish are the culprits. It's a shame that our food supply is so tainted. Since mercury is neurotoxic, your reactions make sense. Pam - describe the reaction. Die-off reactions are normal/natural and very unpleasant for some people. The Candex works by lysing or dissolving the yeast cell walls by enzymatic reaction. It's really a benign treatment. When I did my Candida treatment, I used a Metagenics protocol with herbals for a month. I had the die-off response and one of the manifestations was a huge rash on myby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Among other things helpful for diabetics is adequate vitamin D supplementation...and of course, they absolutely must have optimal magnesium stores as well. Isabelle, basically it involves the silent inflammation factor generated by the sensitivity to the gluten protein. I devoted the whole Conference Room #54 to this reasoning. It is proving to be right on target. The majority of the general population have some degree of sensitivity to gluten/gliaden proteins. Justine - as you know, I'm not a physician. I can only relate my own experiences and knowledge from the nattokinase research I've done so please take this advice accordingly. EB - You say you eat out a lot and that may be one of your major culprits... hidden chemicals, additives, seasonings in commercially prepared foods, sauces marinades etc. that really can be associated with afib. (Sorry to be the bearer of bad news). Most of us found AF alters lifestyle considerably if we want to stay afib free. One critical issue is the sodium (salt) factor. Liz - Yes - I did form a clot from the cardioversion and thanks to nattokinase, it apparently dissolved because I had no untoward affects which was good because I didn't know about the clot until about a month after it was detected on the CT scan. Here's a description of what my holistic chiropractor does to normalize the diaphragm position.... typically the muscle will be elevated and so is pressing upward which can cause problems. George - I don't take aspirin either. The only time I have ever taken it was when I was in an extended AF event lasting more than 24 hours. I have low platelet count and aspirin and I don't get along.... I'll get nose bleeds fairly quickly with regular dosing...and other little visual signs of broken capillaries if I take it regularly. Robin - good job. Your modification of Paleo style eating seems to be working for you so that's good news. What major food group did you eliminate that seems to be the success factor? Scott - a couple of things come to mind when I read your post... If your HR is already low, then taking a BB (especially in the evening) may make it even more likely that you will go into afib. That's what happened with me and I eventually stopped the Toprol XL prescribed as I was vagally mediated and vagals don't get along with beta blockers. Justine - in situations such as you describe, I see nothing wrong with taking both the nattokinase and the aspirin at the onset of the event. Jan - my thought is yes, ask the EP so you know for sure. When mine was diagnosed, it was by my cardiologist who had a specialty in rhythm and pacing... but he wasn't an EP. He said he watched my echo and it was very difficult to detect but after spending enough time, he determined it was there, even if insignificant.
