Cyndie - that's exactly what I do... it seems not to dissolve so I just measure out the dose, chew it a bit while I wash down with water. No taste as far as I can tell. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Steve - you probably didn't know your levels were considered deficient and didn't feel any particular symptoms; therefore, (most likely) you aren't apt to notice quickly that you will have noticeable 'improvement' or changes. Gary - I've been using Resveratrol for several years for the many properties mentioned in that 60 Minutes clip. I've had ablation so I can't testify that it was helpful for that, but by all counts, a good, pure resveratrol is a very important supplement for many reasons; just too bad Big Pharma is set on synthesizing it so they can patent it and charge big bucks as well. Paul - the pharmaceutical grade, molecularly distilled is the only Omega 3 oil I would consider using. This from Nordic Naturals which is one of the leaders... many others use it as well. It's the low heat that ensures a quality end-product. The Coromega, Natural Factors, Carlson's and those sold to licensed healthcare professionals all meet that criteria. Additonally, I've heard and read quite a bit of controversy over the phytoestrogen content of flax. Some say not good; others say - men - should never take - and much is information sponsored by the flax seed oil market which seems to be trying to hold on to some market share which may be failing due to the successes of the fish oil. Sharon - a google search will indicate that the Recommended Daily Allowance RDA for sodium is 2400 mg. The body does need salt to function and without it, we suffer serious consequences. It's just that because it is so prevalent in packaged, canned and prepared foods, we tend to consume far more than the RDA. How bad is this? Remember that we are discussing this because lack of potassium leby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Liz - good post. Very important to emphasize that the bio-identical hormones are the only ones safe to use. Both males and female can have hormonal imbalances even in their teens. I can't emphasize enough that testing is important whenever a issue surfaces that can have roots in hormonal imbalance. Estrogen dominance is common in teens and the 20's for women. White rice, especially, since it is refined and most nutrients removed; brown rice considered a complex carb - still converts to sugar although more slowly. Grains in general all do that. That's why they aren't on the Paleo eating plan. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Or, I use the nasal spray by Nutrabiotics that contains GSE (grapefruit seed extract) and add colloidal silver to that. Spray often until the congestion clears. Sorry I missed the SN description of free-form amino acid.... but a certain measure of a bulk product supposedly pure should measure the same... 1/4 teaspoon should = the same amount for both, I'd think, unless there is an filler added to the bulk which isn't showing up according to the label .... confusing at best. Maybe there is a labeling error on the SN? Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
They best way to know about your hormone levels is to be tested. Saliva collection is one method. Then you'll know which replacement hormone (if any) is needed; it makes no sense to try OTC products without a clue as to your levels. Marian - question - why do you think 1/4 tsp of the SN product delivers 675 mg of the bulk powder... whereas 1/4 of the NOW brand delivers 1000 mg and is identified as free-form and the SN is not? Just curious. I agree it's nice to take the bulk form and eliminate the filler aspect such as the rice flour which could be an impurity as well as the capsule component.
