No - the iodine challenge test is described in my post, "Iodine deficiency" that appeared here in January. 07. Joe - read the fine print on the sugarless gum label to be sure it does not contain aspartame or sucralose... as I mentioned in my original post. A while back, there was an afibber who found that to be a trigger because of the artificial sweetener.
