Sharon - The panel of tests that I would consider a 'gold standard' comes from Designs for Health and is called a Comprehensive Metabolic Profile. Your doctor can order it - by referring to www.designsforhealth.com. Actually - go to this website and read about it without being a physician... This website gives the general description of the complete CMP that is included. As you canby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Cellular memory (even from in utero) can last a lifetime. There are therapies to help change cellular memory. A general test for inflammation anywhere in the body is C-reactive protein. The cardiac CRP is another diagnostic test to help determine if inflammation is creating heart issues. These days, people tend to sue quickly and if doctors prescribe what is considered the standard of care, then they may have met all the legal implications necessary to win a law suit. Hi Susan - Glad to see you are settling in there in NY - certainly sounds like a challenge. You previously mentioned you had found a cardiologist there in NY on one of your other visits. Why not ask him about the cardioversion request and see if there is a way he can intercede for you? Let's hope you have no further need to seek out cardioversion! Good luck with your new job! Mackey - we don't 'hate' Big Pharma so much - what we hate is the fact that drugs are used for everything rather than finding the source of the problem. Drugs often just mask or cover up the symptoms. The true source of the condition and continues to progress (undercover). But, there is no money in that. If they find the source and cure patients and everyone is healthy, the reby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

The amino acid chelate, magnesium glycinate, by Albion is not only fully chelated, but there is a patent on the process which assures bioavailabliy and adequate delivery into the blood stream with no further need for breakdown in the body once it reaches the small intesting. One should be able to get the Red Blood Cell for Magnesium anywhere as it is a standard lab test. The Exatest may not be available to Canadians - I have not contacted Exatest to determine that. In any event, the RBC Magnesium is absolutely fine for IC determination. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Harold - my voice has become (at times) crackly and I blame it on thyroid issues - the literature supports that as one of the many symptoms. If hoarseness occurs after meals, it may signify food allergy or intolerance - that's not at all uncommon. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Bob - thanks for the tip - I hope you will give a reveiw because I'll probably not get to see much of it. I don't expect it will hold much in the way of positive notes though as big pharma spends a huge amount of advertising $$ with the networks so they can't very well come out and give two thumbs up to supplements. David - In addition to the good advice given by Kagey and all, I'd like to add a small refinement - it may be the easiest approach at first to just eliminate all grains and grain products from your diet completely for a month or two and see what happens.
