Timely. Dr. David Brownstein's blog today offers this on statins: Statins are the most profitable drugs in the history of the Big Pharma Cartel. In the U.S., the most stunning statistic about statin drugs is that nearly one-third of adult Americans currently take a statin medication. Hello Afibbers - I'm delighted to read your success story with acupuncture and that you are no longer living in fear of Afib. I can appreciate your relief. Before I gave in and scheduled an ablation in 2003, I had 20 acupuncture treatments with an MD who was also a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. Hello Denver! Great to see your continued success report. Love your gym. So very sorry about your children and, of course, that unremitting stress is very damaging. Ryan - Yes, sorry - I was referring to the magnesium glycinate dosing. As far as your potassium intake goes, and yes, obviously, early man took in much more daily, you should calculate your intake values from a typical day's food consumption and then augment from there. Ryan - While an ablation may obliterate troublesome cardiac cells, other cardiac cells still need the required nutrients for proper function and heart meds typically don’t restore those. Actually, drugs help deplete the all-important magnesium so your diligence in daily repletion becomes top priority. Good find on the website. It's very important to be aware of sources and eliminate where humanly possible any sources of arsenic as it's found in many foods and water. Typically trace amounts of arsenic are detoxified by methylation and eliminated, but as with other toxicants, when there is a methylation or other detoxification defect, accumulation leads to health issuesby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Paula - I'm pleased to read your approach to healthy lifestyle. Hydration is the key for many and it's both the dehydration factor on heart structures plus the lack of those key electrolytes. I think the confusion lies in the fact that if you check iHerb's website for the NOW potassium gluconate powder, you'll see the dosage is still listed as 1/2 tsp = 270 mg...
