Jack - I had PVI in November 03 at the CCF and was told the total cost would run in the neighborhood of $50,000 possibly more. My primary insurance is medicare - which they accepted and the secondary insurance will pick up 80% of what is not covered by medicare. Lorraine - now that's what I call a very insecure doctor. My doctors welcome the articles I bring in and one even asks me to do research on the Internet. It's been acknowledged that with the advent of the Internet, patients are becoming more conversant on their conditions than some of their doctors...and they don't always like it. Some even get an "attitude" as yoursby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
cb - congratulations on another soon-to-be success. I'm sure that at your tender age, afib was a nightmare. I wish you every success with a total recovery and enjoying the rest of your life in NSR. With extensive research details fresh in my mind on the cause of cardiac fibrosis, and having just read the post by Mark who found that his afib was helped with a dose of Milk of Magnesia, and then noting the various the respondents with afib who are either now runners or are exercising strenuously, the connection was so obvious in my mind, I was compelled to pull out some of the facts fromby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
To Carol and all about this topic Since I'm the one who fostered the interest in magnesium taurate, I'd like to respond by saying that I don't think everyone needs to convert to tht form. I'm staying with half and half. A good feature of the taurate form is the lack of bowel intolerance. That can be a real plus for many people taking elelvated magnesium doses. David, how lovely of you to correspond across the miles. Isn't cyberspace a wonder?
