Tan - welcome - I wish there were a quick remedy we could offer for you. Without your history or details of your health history with Afib, it makes it difficult to make suggestions. However, some people have found relief by doing a Val-salva maneuver... or using the EFT - emotional freedom technique (tapping)... which don't involve taking anything orally. Ralph - Your personal observations indicating that with additional potassium supplementation and during sleep, you are able to avoid slipping into AF should be both comforting and encouraging that you are on the right path toward stability. Your dose is not unusually high and the main issue is that it is keeping you in NSR. When potassium stores are low, it allows for the shortening of the rby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Adrian! No question… but sun is often limited in the winter months and cold weather makes sunbathing impossible. Krispin Sullivan, Certified Nutritionist, has often mentioned the importance of getting natural sun exposure on as much bare skin as possible for just limited amounts of exposure … enough to help accumulate vitamin D but not enough to cause UV damage to skin. Alexe - yes, definitely, I agree with you. We all know, or should know, the connection to sugary foods aka high-carb foods that cause silent inflammation…. and the advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that carmelize tissue… that correlates to chronic ailments. Paulie.. There is Doctor's Best that is the true amino acid chelate patented process by Albion Labs. Check the fine print on the label. You can see the details of the product here Note that it says "not buffered" which means it does not contain the magnesium oxide which is the least desirable. Hi Jim - thanks for posting your good news. Glad you are doing well and feeling great. I can appreciate how much better you feel. Some years back, Marian of Miami and Bob G were posting very positive reports about their successful ablations with Dr. Pinski so I'm pleased that you also have had a good experience as well many years later. Ken - I'm not surprised that avoiding the greasy foods worked well for you. It's a known mantra about 'heal the gut, heal the patient' ... so your success indicates you have trouble breaking down fats and that specific digestive enzymes in high doses (lipase) along with pancreatin will help keep that area calm and assist with functionality. Thanks Todd for posting this link to an excellent review of these current concerns. I'll be doing a review post on the impact of GMO foods which is a review of what experts are reporting and what consumers need to know since it's not widely known or understood. It's a far-reaching problem since the average consumer doesn't understand exactly how GM foods act in the body oby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Alex - My history was that left side sleeping was a trigger and I trained myself not to switch sides during sleep. Eventually, as George notes, when my electrolytes became fully optimized, it didn't matter which side. Rick - on the label, it indicates ingredients are: magnesium oxide, magnesium amino acid chelate, and rice flour which is a filler. What that indicates to me since the oxide is first in the order is that there is either more oxide or maybe even an equal amount of oxide to the chelate. Maybe, it's 60:40 hard to know... but in any event, as I initially commented, the oxide form is thby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Rick - I'm pleased that your combination is working for you. Can you give the iHerb link for the product you are using? I looked at iHerb and the Country Life and as George notes, something isn't matching your description. Hello Paul – and welcome. It’s true that the ablation doesn’t address the ecoptics if you remain out of range in core electrolytes. Many of us have proven that to be true repeatedly. Barb - as I mentioned in an earlier post, I initially lowered my 4 - 6 grams daily down to 2 grams when I began Eliquis as I was not sure and couldn't find either cautions or dosing advice. After 5 months at the lower daily intake, I began to notice many of my old complaints returning, so I'm now taking 4 grams a day and as far as I know, at least for me, it's not detrimental.by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Ken (kls)... keep in mind that aerobic exercise naturally results in free-radical production - (ROS or reactive oxygen species) which is a natural response that typically the body can manage quite well.. but when the heart tissues are in a state of recovery from ablation burns and are still inflamed, it doesn't make sense to push by generating more ROS from exertional or strenuous exerciby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Reliable brands of Liquid Omega 3’s are those labeled as pure, molecularly distilled… and include Nordic Naturals, Carlson’s – There are also encapsulated products that include a blend of the n3’s ALA, EPA, DHA and also the GLA which is the n6.
