Hi Randy - It's my experience when searching on the Internet, that it's not difficult to find someone who has a negative view of what's been solid information for years. Often, it's just that, opinion, but not really based on the facts or experiences of physicians and practitioners that have seen a lot of patients who benefit from using various nutritional support and interveby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
John - Good choice of EPs.... Dr. Schweikert is right up there in the top ranking of EPs and on top of that, he's a really kind, caring physician and human being. You do have to understand that very often, in order to maintain the positive results from a successful ablation, you may need to make some lifestyle adjustments. Running may be your passion but it's known that it leadsby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
The ketogenic diet and using coconut oil sounds very promising, but not all Alzheimer patients are going to be cooperative and eat that way. My neighbor with Alzheimer's is stubborn, fussy and totally uncooperative about what she 'should' eat versus what she prefers. And she definitely would not ever remember to take it routinely. Probably depends on the degree of disease progrby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Gordon - The nanoparticle colloidal silver in the gel form is an effective remedy for toe nail fungus. It takes as long as six months to have a totally healthy nail. Easy to use and inexpensive. Check out American BioTech Labs ASAP Silver Gel. I had one affected toenail that nothing would touch, but ASAP Gel totally reversed the infection and the nail was healthy and new in about six months.by Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
A couple of years ago, I posted a tasty recipe on Baked Kale. Cooking Kale removes the concerns over goitrogens. However it is in the brassica family and people sensitive to brassicas often have symptoms of stomach distress, diarrhea and heartburn so must avoid. When I bake Kale I use a very minor amount of oil... and often, I don't use any at all. I love the leaves to be dry andby Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Randy - My natural Bp is typically around 116/65 and I've been using nattokinase regularly since my ablation in 2003. I didn't notice a change or lowering from my normal. When I did my initial consulting with various people including Dr. Holsworth, who were back then just starting to promote the benefits of using this fibrinolytic enzyme, there were no caveats about having it lower yby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello Louise~ Thanks for your informative report. Good news about your heart status and that you can continue on without worry of remodeling. I know a couple of people who have a similar situation who they have been doing very well for many years... fully functional and totally asymptomatic. Quite a contrast from the typical afibber. Liz - on the flecainide... my opthalmologists (several over the years) did not know about the vision distortion complaints people were reporting when using flecainide and waived off my thoughts about the connection. However, once off flecainide, the vision distortion went away. But, if you Google "flecainide and vision" you'll see the various reports. Do the same on propaby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Duke - It's not absurd at all but definitely something people have a hard time accepting. If you read more on the subject, you'll find that those types of sensitivities are not all that uncommon, yet are almost never recognized as symptoms of that reaction... and patients then are often treated with drugs for various other diagnoses when the true culprit is just that... the reaction tby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Stef - That happened to me as well with flecainide. At first, the ophthalmologist didn't think there was a connection, but my blurry vision was definitely brought on by the flecainide. I was able to discontinue the drug when I had my ablation but I continue to see a retina specialist because there is a slight start of the dry macular degeneration in one eye. Craig - The amino acid chelate (Magnesium glycinate) labeled as using the Albion patented process is the reliable form. Read more about magnesium absorption in this report. Magnesium Absorption You should always start with a small dose like 200 mg magnesium a day for 3 - 4 days just to be sure you have no adverse reactions. Shannon - It may not be standard, but I thought if you had an existing PFO, they used that 'port' for the catheters rather than make a new puncture. Maybe that's 'old school' but I recall corresponding with several people who reported that. I also know a person who had atrial fibrillation and the PFO. When they repaired the PFO, the afib disappeared without a formaby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
George - Hypoglycemia during the wee hours was contributory to my very first afib events. A lot depends on when the last meal was.. too long between meals can start the problem in some with glucose handling problems... and the other, for me, was drinking alcohol in the evening with no food. That typically brought on a hypoglycemic event and then that evolved eventually into causing an afibby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tom - take a look at other influences in your diet that may be causing some triggering activity. I was recently corresponding with another ablatee who traced frequent PACs to what he ate.... and specifically, aged cheese came up as a culprit. You can learn more with a Google search but the tyramine in aged cheese or dried beans can be causative... and also check for tyrosine as well. The facby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Joe - As George mentions, the citrate form when you use it frequently can have a laxation effect. The amino acid chelated form by the Albion patented process is the one serves most of us the best as it doesn't cause bowel tolerance issues until dosing becomes quite high... like around 800 - 1,000 mg. George... you can look into using TMG (trimethylglycine) to help lower triglycerides as it assists with methylation. If you don't make progress fairly quickly, have the methylation cycle tests and the MTHFR test to evaluate whether you have methylation cycle defects or the gene mutation and also pay attention to liver function in that that case. TMG typically works quickly and well. Gooby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

George - are you using generous dosing of MK7? I recall talking with Dr. Holsworth about an afibber who also had multiple areas of arterial calcifications as a result of taking long-term warfarin.
