Interesting and not dissimilar to my experience with the systemby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I'd strongly consider it if my symptoms became bothersomeby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks, Liz! I think i'd try to get IV vit. C first anyway.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
My TSH is high, about 6 or 7. Does anybody have suggestions how iodine from an inhaler gadget will affect thyroid function. Thinking if iodine 'speeds up' thyroid function there may be a chance to go hyper which would no doubt trigger my AF???by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Big job! Including genetics? I'd do the survey but not expecting much, but one never knows?by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks George! No one listed in Australia from your site. There are two, particularly one in Melbourne but i can't verify her claims of being a medical graduate from one of our good Universities - it's our privacy rulesby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thank you Liz and NLAMA ! Sounds very credible. Now, why does no government fund a trial (apart from the Cubans)????by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
This is way too much for me to judge veracity . It seems more like one hypothesis upon other ones... Nevertheless, does it work????by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
If we start a likes fan club my vote goes to NLAMA The agencies are in many ways behind the 8 ball for whatever reason. This isn't saying that all pharma products are unhelpful (x numbers of them definitely are), quite the opposite. It's just that in many cases they are over prescribed, again for various reasons.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteNotLyingAboutMyAfib Thank you Jeff! Very encouraging. Do you have a recent D lab result # you can share? I may also try to slowly raise D levels in the absence of any exo calcium but probably like many others in this forum I also have CAC # that needs regressing and now on this track of 'D as possible harmful', my friends are supplying me with links to research they haveby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
The larger agenda is $$$$$. greed, self interest. Business/pharma are not interested in options that aren't profitable and that is understandable. What is evil is manipulating the market to steer people away or even suppress simple inexpensive solutions. While i'm for immunization as a free option i don't approve of it being compulsory. I'm not an anti vaccser, had some vaccby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Very frustrating for you and best of luck with your changes! How do you establish what your natural vitamin D levels are? No supplementation and spending a lot of your skin exposed to sunshine for extended periods every day???by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for the link, Jackie! Appreciate all the information and his experience! Don't agree with in @ about 44min reducing fever without qualifiers.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Not at all PC,MD. All good, thanks for the link!by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Hmmm, page not found. Hope it's not censored! Found this NNT for flu vaccine: 12 to 37 Ah, think i found the one you mean? Given that it is on the Mercola site some in their wisdom will reflexively reject it Flu injections are an attempt to treat the symptom (and make money) once again. Interesting perspective and history by Dr Greger from many years ago:by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
QuotePC, MD Joe, Good question! The same can be said for Vitamin D. It only takes 33 people supplementing with Vitamin D to prevent a single case of the flu, while 40 must be vaccinated to achieve the same. But you won't hear that anywhere. It's all about the vaccine. . Unfortunately it is big pharma - not saying that they are all bad but business and shareholder responsibility comeby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thank you from me as well, PC,MD! Did read Dr Kalokerinos's book many years ago. What i don't understand, why isn't IV vitamin C used routinely for infections???? What would i have to do to get that treatment should i be unlucky enough to be admitted to hospital with COVID 19? That's in Melbourne Australia. No doubt, you are familiar with the 'DR Marik protocol' fby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Dr. Hotez also mentions the heart connection. If there is massive inflammation why don't they administer IV vitamin C? Given that the Marik protocol works better for toxemia than anything else they got is intrigues me.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Great info Jackie - as usual Noticed by it's absents in the above link - hot sauna exposure? Don't know about this virus but having three consecutive sessions (about 15 min ea) of very hot,dry sauna stopped my flu virus a few years ago. Of course, i have no proof other than that i felt perfectly well the same day after a few hours sleep to recover from the exhausting sauna.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Appreciate your N2 post above, glad you don't have writers cramp. It is really difficult to get tested for CV here in Australia with mild symptoms unless one is a politician/celebrity/footballer/or the like.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
While it's not a new post i thought it might be of interest since the medications seem to be consumed en mass.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Some very good info in this Peter Attia interview: And some practial measures from an engineering view: Ultimate protection is a very sound immune system.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Talking about hysterics - here in Australia the supermarket shelves are cleared of toilet paper, tissues, pasta and probably a few other items, i haven't looked. A few women were filmed fighting for toilet paper! don't understand why some people are sooo stupidby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks Jackie!by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
This might be of interest as well? Don't know how they got ethical approval knowing that the Dr Marik protocol is working just fine. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see the graphs. Wonder if Liposomal C shows the same or similar rise in vitamin C levels. Any studies out there?by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Yes, the climate thing was a bit mischievous and stems more from other Australians and the 4 Melbourne seasons in one day - not relevant here so shouldn't have written it I'm actually quite happy with the climate here, maybe not so much during winter. Unfortunately, i have not got your discipline, Steve. Yes, i must get my D3 levels tested. It is my aim to restrict Ca intake but doby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
QuoteSteveCarr The circa 5,000iu/day of D3 needed to maintain the natural solar-available serum levels (~64ng/ml, 160nmol/L) of virtually all our ancestors are very, very different from the levels mentioned in the article, and are, logically at least, very likely to be the absolute optimum for our health. Thanks for pointing out the ridiculously high levels in that paper. I take 5,000iu/day anby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
As an aside, disappointed it's not made from catgut, at least here in Australia. Cats are a huge problem for our native Australian wildlife. Using their gut would at least be one positiveby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Has anybody on here who had long term high D3 levels had a CAC score test done?by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Looks like we have a lot to learn about genetics and epigenetics before we can claim what an optimal diet is for any individual? On a population basis an optimal diet prescription is easier - no or minimal refined sugar/carbs especially in combination with fats. If on a high carb diet then minimize fats. Eat what maintains a healthy gut-biom. Maintain a steady low blood glucose level. Exerciseby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
