My quick scan of the lawsuit alleges that a lot of this came from Albion, so I'm not sure why any vendor using Albion would be any different. As I've previously posted, I take a lot of mag (~3-5g/day) from various sources including chloride, bicarb, dimag malate (an Albion product), KAL glycinate, citrate & etc. From my bowel tolerance indications, there is some minor differenceby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Anit-Fib, Don't have the meter (I can take 8-10g/day of K+ without issue), but I do sample my blood for other reasons. Do you have a "pricker" like used for glucose sampling? If so, most I've seen have different settings for how hard it throws the pricker into your skin. So up that to max, then press really hard into the side, not pad of your finger. Hi Mark, A clarification, I said "... will report and record beat to beat. " It should say " will report averages and record beat to beat." You need to make a recording, download the data and then look at it to see the beat to beat info. What is displayed on the screen is averaged. However it is the beat to beat you want to see. Anti-fib, "Pay attention to the acute demands on your Heart, what I mean is that most of the time, it's the acute increase or decrease in Cardiac load that causes IR HR's. Dave, Pill in the pocket is a loading dose of either flecainide (which I use) or propafenone. Here is the article < The first time I ever used flec, I took 300 mg and converted a 2 1/2 month episode. Hi Ken, Since you are in Florida, you might see if your HMO would do Sergio Pinski at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston. A number of posters in past years have had great results. Mark, I've found that most heart rate monitors average the beat rates for presentation. The (now ancient) Polar S810 and newer Polar RS800CX will report and record beat to beat. This is important, as averaging masks what you are looking for (so does filtering - it must be turned off) - the ectopic beats or afib. Lisa, It can be hard, sometimes as you noted your doc wasn't sure either. So a stethoscope is good to try, but the interpretation may still be unclear. I echo the HIIT and super slow to failure strength training. If I had to choose one because of ectopic or afib, I'd choose the super slow to failure. It is unlikely to cause issues, but is still an excellent and fast workout. Georgeby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Liz, The cat got cardiomyopathy around 1986. We lived in the San Joaquin Valley of California. He nearly died. The x-ray of his heart showed it taking up most of his chest cavity. Smack, Congratulations on your Anniversary!! Years ago, altitude was a topic here. I'm guessing since you are doing well after your ablation, this should not be an issue for you. Anti-Fib, I have no idea what rabbit holes you've pursued, but here are a few thoughts. Two MD's, Terry Wahls & Steven Gundry, have focused on autoimmune issues. Hi Peggy, Ha Ha Ha! I happened to eat a package of natto last night! I've also made black bean natto, using soy natto beans as a starter. You are correct. I've taken up to 10g/day of potassium in bicarbonate and citrate forms without issue. My serum K levels are always normal. I'm not suggesting others do this, but if your kidneys function well, they will excrete excess potassium. My dose of potassium usually ranges in the 1-4g/day. I've had many years taking 4 g/day.
