Wonder if this would be more useful for someone with a sympathetic (or adrenergic) trigger versu someone with a vagal trigger?by GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sounds good! Wim has some very interesting data for those using his breathing technique, I've got his book. Wim talks about using his breath hold swimming under ice. I do not recommend this. His technique reduces serum CO2 with hyperventilation. It will also reduce O2 as the breath hold time increases. The breathing center in the brain has two sensors that trigger the urge to breatby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Smackman, Have been out of looking at Medicare plans since my mom passed in 2013. She was in a plan in her hometown that predated the Plans A, B & ect. She'd subsequently been diagnosed with cancer, so was unable to pass underwriting to get a new plan. Hers was very expensive. Mark, I've been keto-adapted for 9 years. Only one afib episode that I can attribute to the naturisis of fasting. That was during my initial adaptation phase. Because Warfarin's mechanism of action is to destroy Vitamin K, it destroys K1(which controls clotting and is in leafy greens) as well as K2 (which is made primarily by bacterial action). This is unfortunate as K2, in layman's terms, will "tell calcium where to go." Hence long term use can cause calcification where you don't want it.
