Thanks for the links and info, colindo. I have purchased nattokinase but have not started taking it. Have been meaning to do more reading on it so this will get me started. And I bought some natto in those little frozen packs from Japan. I am going to give it another go. Can I ask you how much natto and Vitamin D you take daily? I'm sure this is has been discussed here before since it dates to August 2020. But I am happy to see that the ESC (European Society of Cardiology), in its updated 2020 Guidelines for the treatment of AF, is continuing with its previous guideline that oral anti-coagulation is simply "to be considered in patients with a CHA2DS2-VASc score of 1 in men or 2 in women, with treatment individby PoetKim - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteGeorgeN Yes, you could also use the soy natto you buy as a starter. I've read that this works better than the powder starters. All the soy natto I have seen and tried is little frozen packets from Japan. I have always wondered if the live culture actually survives freezing. The instructions say must consume in one week after opening. I would not think that would be necessary if thereby PoetKim - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteElizabeth I have a neighbor that has 2 horses and she said she gives them a syringe of Ivermectic paste, she shoots it in their mouths about every month, there are a couple of different kinds she said for worms. QuoteGeorgeN I've wondered if it was the soy that I was reacting to (I'm sensitive to a long laundry list of foods) and thought about making my own fermenting black beans instead of soy, but haven't ever acted on that thought. I would love to know more about making one's own natto - and from black beans, not soy. If you have recipe or any ideas, would love to see it. Also,by PoetKim - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotewolfpack I think a lot of this misses the point that vaccination is superior to medication. Vaccine is prevention. Medication is treatment. To put it this way, it’s awesome that water puts out fire. But isn’t it better not to start the fire? I am now the proud and impoverished owner of 16 tablets of 3 mg ivermectin for the princely sum of $147 CDN. That's about $9 a tab. The I-MASK protocol only specifies 8 tablets needed for my body weight, to cure/resolve/halt Covid. But my doctor decided to prescribe double that (and I agree) because what if I use up my first 8 on a suspected exposure that never comes to pass... and then a moby PoetKim - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
QuoteJoe What motivates Senator Gary Peters to be such a blatant liar? Clearly, the doctors are saying to wear masks, social distance, hygiene and are pro vaccine. Wow! Sen. My Integrative & Functional Medicine doctor here in Canada just wrote me a prescription for ivermectin (at my request), for me to have on hand to use if I contract Covid or become symptomatic, or know I have been exposed, following this Early Outpatient Protocol: Now the question is, will a local pharmacy fill it for this off-label use? Wow, Susan! That's an awful string of stressful experiences. My deepest condolences on your mother's death. QuoteGeorgeN This appears to only have ivermectin. The prescribing info says it is squirted into the horse's mouth, without food. Also appears to come in a marked syringe, so dividing the syringe into doses should be easier. Thanks George! And I just found this one on Canada Amazon that seems to also just be only ivermectin. QuoteGeorgeN Horse version The problem with these horse versions is they have another chemical in them besides ivermectin. (Praziquantel). And it doesn't say what end you are supposed to squirt this paste into. Are these horse pastes for oral use? Thanks for this calculation George! I'm going to hang on to it and adjust it to my dose/body weight (4 pills/59 kg) Kim QuoteGeorgeN Looking at I-Mask+, they say 0.2 mg/kg. This is how I would dose it - do your own due diligence. I'm not suggesting anyone do this. For example ONLY. I'm 77 kg = 15.4 mg The paste is stated to be 1.87%. Thank you Carey for the explanation and info about site too. Like Colindo, I too think of "lone" AF as AF without cardiovascular comorbidities. And to me that still seems like an important distinction (whatever term for it is used). I keep coming across the claim that people with AF without CV comorbidities have same stroke risk as general non-AF population... That it is the CV comoby PoetKim - AFIBBERS FORUM
I found this interesting. Don't know exactly what to make of it. The latest guidelines from European Society of Cardiology say: "Lone AF a historical descriptor. Increasing knowledge about the pathophysiology of AF shows that in every patient a cause is present. Hence, this term is potentially confusing and should be abandoned." QuoteMikeN One thing to note is that after eating a potato, my heart calms down much more than from the potassium chloride. At least that's what it seems like. I wonder if that could be due to the magnesium in the potato? it's an interesting observation you have made!by PoetKim - AFIBBERS FORUM
Low sodium V8 has approximately 100 mg Potassium Chloride per one ounce V8 juice. So when you drink one of those little 5.25 oz cans, you're getting 530 mg Potassium.
