My standbys are and have been for many years... magnesium amino acid chelate with the TRAACs designation along with magnesium malate and I also add magnesium threonate at bedtime to help with brain support. Plus I make the homemade version of the magnesium bicarbonate water... aka WW... which has both the magnesium benefits along with the overall alkalizing effect which is important as well.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteGeorgeN My diet continues to be keto. I eat in a 2 hour window daily. For the last 4 years, it is more "ovo-pegan," hence my fat sources are mostly monos - olive, macadamia and avocado oil. My animal protein is shell fish, white fish & eggs. On the veggie side, no grains, legumes, nightshades or seeded veggies and almost no fruit except avocados.. .g Doubtfull tby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotemwcf Just wondering if someone one knew was having a stroke in front of you and all you had was Eliquis (or another NOAC) or aspirin, what would be the best option of those two to give them and what amount? This past Jan. I had an ECG apparently when my pacemaker was pacing, the doctors couldn't read it because of the pacing. I realize these doctors were not that adept, but isn't that the problem. Lby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
You can get an EKG and everything is good and drop dead from a heart attack the next day, it has happened. Lizby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Colin: In May of this year I had my pace maker stop pacing me at 80 BPM (I don't know why they did that in the first place), I was getting AF a few times a month for about 6 months. From the first of May to the middle of Aug. I had no AF, about 3 and a 1/2 months. I got an episode of AF a few weeks ago, which is better than what I was getting previous to May, at least I had most of theby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Why don't you use Curcumin just on your food as a spice, why are you taking it in a supplement form, perhaps the body can't handle it that way. I find that supplements are just too much sometimes. Lby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Doesn't sound to good to me:----------- Stop using creatine and call your healthcare provider at once if you have: •pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest; •trouble breathing; •swelling, rapid weight gain; •dehydration symptoms--feeling very thirsty or hot, being unable to urinate, heavy sweating, or hot and dry skin; or •signs of an electrolyte imbalance--by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM

Its Flint not Detroit, they were OK when using Detroit water when they started using Flint water (which was contaminated by factories dumping) they got in trouble. Sure, it was political, but if you think that a lot of the big cities don't have any problems with their water, think again.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Joe: When I first got AF, my regular Med. doctor prescribed Atenolol, 25mg. only once a day, I felt terrible made me very tried. I got a 1st. degree heart block where my heart rate dropped to almost a flat line when going back to NSR from an episode of AF. I'm really tired of reading alarmist crap about it aimed at drumming up sales of useless crap. Barb; Good questions, if you no longer have AF, then why do you have to take an anticoagulant. I know what Carey will say but I don't believe it. I think doctors are pushing these drugs because the drug companies need the money to pay for their expense in bringing all of these new anticoagulants to market, so they are pushing the doctors to keep prescribing them.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
