Alxnde I like your read better----they are working on a drug, that would be better than ablating.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Jackie for this. There was a doctor on Fox news that said his father had the virus and he had him take HCQ and got better quickly. However, a lot of politics has gone in about this drug, and instead of trying it they let people die.by Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Our country is going to hexx. Can't get a script written by a doctor. My Holistic doc. had a protocol for the virus if you get it, he had to delete all of the FB writings that people had written saying that their corona virus was stopped and they were OK. Seems like CDC rather you died than to try and get help outside of their findings.by Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
They are having some side effects to the vaccine in Britain Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) confirmed on Wednesday that it is deploying “resuscitation facilities” in coronavirus vaccination centres following the revelation that two healthcare workers suffered anaphylactoid reactions after receiving the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on the first day of rollout. GGheld Well maybe they were putting on a show for you,by Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Don't think I will take the vaccine, I have never taken the flu shot. There are some drugs that have helped eliminate the virus, so I would rather go that way. President Trump and his family had the virus and are fine, a few on his staff have tested positive and have taken meds and are OK. If you keep your immune system up by taking Vit. C, A, vit. D and zinc that will help greatly. Billby Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Colindo Of course not, there have been people that have written on this site that have said they were taking a blood thinner and had a stroke. I am not saying that you shouldn't take Eliquis or Xarelto etc. especially if you are in AF permanently which I am now. My mother was on Coumadin for about 8 years and had to quit because she was bleeding internally. All drugs have side effectsby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Martha sue: You said --. My latest blood work showed a big increase in my BUN creatinine ratio--- My BUN creatinine ratio has always been a little high, I take a blood thinner now but I didn't for a long, long time. My doctor tells me to drink more water, I just don't drink enough water, so not drinking enough water can cause your BUN creatinine ratio to become higher.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey: i think your 6 min. time line for a clot to form after going into AF is not in line with most thinking. “How long do I have to be in A-Fib before I develop a clot and have a stroke?” When blood is stagnant and not being pumped out of the left atrium, a clot can form. When the left atrium starts beating again, this clot can be pushed downstream into the left ventricle which thenby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey said: Note that I carefully and repeatedly said "successful ablation." Having afib recur within the first 12 months isn't a successful ablation. If there's a second source of afib that wasn't detected in the index procedure, that's how AF returns and is the usual reason for a touch-up procedure. Only once ALL sources of AF are isolated and remain isolated foby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sean Connery, who just recently died had AF, he also had alzimers. Lots of famous people seem to have AF, wonder if AF contributes to Alzimers. Perhaps it would depend on how long you have AF, my mother died at 92 and she had persistent AF for about 7 years, but she was sound of mind, it was her heart.by Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
b stevens: And how do you treat Af? i am now in persistent AF after being in Proximal AF for about 20 years, and I am now just on a blood thinner for it. Apparently from what I have read about the person of whom I was speaking of, is that he is only on a blood thinner as well and i am sure he has the best doctors in the world.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Does your heart function normally when in AF didn't think it did, but i may be wrong. i am in persistent AF i am able to do everything that i did before being persistent expect i do tire easier and get a little short of breath when walking a distance. i don't believe that a person's heart is functioning normally when in AF like this Doc. O'Connor says, am i wrong? Thby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Betty: You were on Eliquis when you had the strokes? Lby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
If you have to stay on a blood thinner, then why get a Watchman? I had always thought that one of the reasons to get a Watchman was to get off bloodthinners.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM

For the last 3 months i have been eating pumpkin and sunflower seeds, i buy the raw seeds and put a little olive oil on them and just roast them for a few min. They are really good. My zinc level was a little over the top of the lab scale which never has happened to me, i have been taking a Zinc supplement which i have been doing for years. i have done a little checking and found out that tby Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Dr. Brownstein says if you have lung issues to use a Netulizer and his protocol it has greatly helped the people that have used it. He used to have his patients tell their stories on Video they all have said that they got better, Dr. B. did not say it was a cure but the gov. may him stop and took all of his videos off the net. I have posted the following on the Health section before all of thby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey: You put a lot more faith in doctors than I do.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had blood work done a few weeks ago, my Vitamin D, 25-OH is 67 which is pretty good, I have been out in my garden getting sun and taking Vit. D. My zinc level is a little high, it is 145 lab levels are 60-130 mcg/dl, is that bad or I guess I should stop taking Zinc a couple of days a week, this is a new one for me. Lby Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Carey: I had the same thing which happened to me, i only got this when going from AF to NSR , I didn't get any pauses otherwise. When my EP saw the tracing that my doctor sent to him, he called me and said I had to go to the hospital and get a pacer implanted. Now who is right you or an EP, I doubt a person could continue this way, so you probably are right about an ablation, either anby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
I often get the black-out type "pause" upon conversion. CC66 has said these are not just pauses, they are black out pauses which is different than just pauses.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
CC66: I You say that you get blackouts upon converting from AF to NSR. I had that happen to me as well, it was quite a few years ago--when going from AF to NSR I would almost black out, this was caught once when I was in my doctor's office, he said I had 1st. degree heart block and I immediately had a pace maker installed, I never had that happen to me again, I am glad for my pacer, it haby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Susan: Sorry about your brother and mother. You can stay in permanent AF without too much problems if your rate is low, your mom's rate at 150-180 is too high and probably caused Heart failure.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just another topic that goes nowhere----I strongly believe in our DNA, my mother had AF, I think my grandmother did as well. My father had Graves disease (hyper thyroid), I had Graves as well, can't be just from what we eat, I eat well, I grow most of my veggies, berries and apples.by Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
