4.5 months post ablation this happened. My hr is now in the 80-100s. I bought 6000 pounds of landscaping river rocks and am lifting them a bucket at a time to landscape a dry creek look. Some of the rocks are big. The exercise is raising my hr.by susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotewolfpack It’s helpful to combine the D3 with Vitamin K2-MK7. The D3 increases gut absorption of calcium. The K2 helps direct the calcium into the bones, where it’s beneficial, and not into the arteries and muscles, where it is harmful. Can you take K while on Eliquis?by susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM
Interesting Jeff. My PVCs are more violent in the evenings. I just realized I take d3, co-q-10, fish oil and magnesium at 5pm and by 6 I have a nightly pvc freak show. I visited my son out of the country and I skipped my supplements for 12 days to pack light and PVCs were never noticed. I returned on the 18th of January and resumed my supplements and I feel my PVCs once again. I do need D3 sinceby susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM
Elizabeth: if you go to the ER to be converted, they will probably ask you for your cardiologist’s name and call for permission. I suggest you call your cardiologist and prepare him by saying you are planning to visit the ER and they may call him for permission. You don’t always need prior permission. Once they called my cardiologist it was in their system so the next time it was easier. Some ofby susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM
Try another cardio conversion. IMHO it’s less invasive than an ablation or staying in the hospital in a new drug. At least you know you tried. Also review your diet to see if you had alcohol or caffeine or excessive salt or sweets that could had triggered it.by susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was sent to cardiac icu in August for 3 days for observation when my hr was 24-30s. They don’t keep you there for nothing. I sent my Kardia 6L to Natale NP. It’s steady slow PVCs according to Natale NP’s email this morning. To warm up I go on my treadmill but it’s a temporary rise in hr. QuoteCarey When you leave the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, after an ablation, do you have to constantly wear some type of monitoring device for a while? Or will a Kardia suffice? (I don't live in TX.) A Kardia will suffice. At least two years ago their procedure was they wanted you to take a Kardia reading once per week and email it to the NP you're assigned to. My hr is a steady 34-37, second day. I am freaking freezing cold in a heated room. The only way to warm up is going on my treadmill where my hr will be around 80. But it’s short lived and will return to my pvc steady 30s afterward. Kardia and my oximeter clocked it. My oncologist clocked 34-36 with their oximeter and I had to stay in the exam room for nearly 2 hours before it hit 51 and I could gby susan.d - AFIBBERS FORUM

Quotesafib A significant number of patients with bradycardia or sick-sinus or its variants also have afib. So the heart can beat too slowly when in NSR and too quickly in AF. So even after PVI ablation there might still be a need for a pacemaker to set a floor on NSR rate. There might also be issues with variability that need to be addressed. I don’t understand this. I’m told by my local EP that my Marathon onset of PVCs that started 10 days after my AF ablation are not related because my ventricular part of my heart was not touched. That said my PVCs feel constant now, more frequent than the 17.3% pvc burden the Zio patch found. Ritva- how much do you weigh? Flecainide dose is no more than 200mg (thanksxGeirgeN) if you weigh less than 152. I was in the cardiac icu for three days due to flecainide overdose. I listened to the wrong EP and took 300mg/day. at the time I weighed 122. So be careful with flecainide. It’s a black label drug (can cause sudden death). See if you can get a flecainide serum test.
