Murray - If you do a search in the post archives for author "Howie" and look for his Tikosyn testimonials, you'll find his success story. He used that very successfully for a long time until he decided to go for ablation with Dr. Natale. I don't recall if he had comments on side effects but he was a big fan of that drug. Mike - Just as when we use the liquid MoM... not all of it will be fully activated and there can be sediment in the bottle... it's not a precision 'recipe'... the variance in powder's crystal size may allow for more or less activation...and you may end up with residue or sediment in the bottle. Hi Bruce - There is reason to suspect your Tums may be a culprit...especially if you are not using supplemental magnesium. Calcium tends to dominate over magnesium and is excitatory whereas magnesium is relaxing. And right along with that comes the importance of potassium in a ratio that is not offset by too much sodium. Most people and especially afibbers are deficient in magnesium. Therby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
