Neroli - another detrimental effect with the BB is that they tend to cause insulin resistance eventually. That happened to me after several years of using and it was tough getting that reversed. Eventually, I just went off metoprolol totally and just used the flecainide alone and eventually, after that, with enough of the magnesium, potassium, taurine etc, I was able to wean way down on the fby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Nancy - sounds like a good plan. Back to basics. The awakening at night is just so classic for hypoglycemia. When I battled that, the protein in yogurt or the whey powder was extremely helpful. I hope you begin to 'normalize' and feel better without so many disruptions and distractions. Best to you, Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
srach1943 - Thank you for the acknowledgement Yes, the science is solid and dramatic regarding our ability to influence gene expression. So few people are aware or take the time to delve into it, but it's an invaluable clue to managing our health destiny. Kurt - There is no question that magnesium is extremely significant. Do a search here on the many posts that discuss the use of magnesium... the perferred, most effective form is the chelated amino acid form, magnesium glycinate, designated by the Albion patent on the label. Other forms may not access the cells easily and aren't as long lasting as the protein-bound form. Many cause boweby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Nancy - the thing to remember is the pH paper is reactive to the chemical introduced and it may take a few seconds to develop the final color which then equates to the pH. I think the individual strips offer a distinct advantage. I may be remiss, but I'm not overly concerned after making the WW all these years. I know it works and really don't bother that often.
