Hi Steve - In my 8-year AF challenge that included some events lasting 24 - 27 hours and often back to back, I never experienced pain in heart or chest, but then maybe being female versus male offers different potentials for pain? Your recent event was so short, though, that pain seems strange. Is it totally gone now? Barry... bending over to tee up a ball was a trigger for me on occasion..by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Steve - It's good to see you are 'connected' again and reporting in. You've been on my mind and I'm pleased your are sharing the details. Will you stay on longer for a second ablation as some have done or return later if need be? What type of anesthesia did you have that you were awake the whole six hours of the procedure? You mention the new diagnostics thatby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Paul - I use the topically on sore muscles. It's quick and effective. As George mentions, though, it's a hassle as the gel feels sticky so there is time involved waiting and then showering or washing off. I also agree with George that whatever method works that is tolerable for optimizing magnesium "for you" is worth doing. George is the poster boy for using a varietby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
EB – It’s interesting to reflect on what might have been if we had done this or that. My understanding is that it takes an abundance (high dosing) of proteolytic, systemic enzymes and time to make progress eliminating fibrosis. I doubt that few if any afibbers have gone to that extent or expense but those who did, certainly benefited. In Erling's case, the magnesium deficiency/fibrosis coby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Shannon - thanks for re-emphasizing that that sodium level can be considered high….. at least for those prone to AF. A physician I corresponded with some years ago was struggling with AF and tended to be more 'holistic' trending for treatment than going the drug route. In addition to the core nutrients we recommend, he found that if he kept his sodium level one point below theby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
EB - as Hans noted, CR 24 offers a solution to fibrosis. Both of the fibrinolytic and proteolytic enzymes that I used initially provided a visual affirmation of efficacy via a flattening or normalizing of a fibrous, knotty leg vein.... small and firm. It was an interesting side benefit which I felt was reflective of what hopefully was going on in my heart as well which undoubtedly helped mby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Gary - yes.... I know that aluminum contained in those crystals easily tranfers through the skin. I'd not be using those crystals. Read this by Dr. Mercola Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hans.... here's my thought on simplicity. Monitoring one's pH or acid/alkaline tissue status provides a direct correlation to the voltage available for cellular function. Low cellular voltage supports adverse health conditions with the lowest levels promote sickness, disease, cancer and aging. The body is electrical by function. If we let our batteries run down, there will be systeby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Lynda - digestive issues can be managed with the use of digestive enzymes along along with keeping a close diary or log of foods consumed and associated symptoms after each intake. That usually identifies culprit foods. Most often, gluten and dairy seem to be the most troublesome, although there are some that can't tolerate those veggies in the nightshade family or legumes with the lechtinby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Gary - I will email you with information on Functional Medicine and contacts in the UK. Give me a few days. Meanwhile, try to focus on just the magnesium. The majority of afibbers are found to be magnesium deficient and often, in spite of heroics, it's very difficult to optimize intracellular magnesium stores. It can take a very long time and some people battle it constantly. Optimal maby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Lynda - when I wore a monitor at or around the 3-month post ablation period, there were 'runs' of what was diagnosed as Sinus Tachycardia. How that felt to me was a short burst of rapid beats... 8 - 10 or so...and then back in NSR. Dr. Natale said it was common and meant nothing ominous. Those runs still happen every so often and initially, I noticed every little bump or change, butby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Gary - Everyone is different when it comes to tolerating supplements and how much of the various core nutrients are needed to support Normal Sinus Rhythm. Over the past 10 years, readers here have reported success in reversing their AF with supplements and others cannot tolerate them. When embarking on a supplement program, it's best to introduce only one supplement at a time and use forby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Paul - as I mentioned previuosly, there is some concern that with a large dose either oral or injection, the liver doesn't really know how to handle such a large amount so it's suggested that increasing the oral doses incrementally/gradually, seems to be a better approach. Your level of 36 is still considerably low, so if I were doing it, I'd be taking at least 2,000 if not 4,000by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi George - sorry about your stress.... have you tried the theanine and Bach Flower Rescue Remedy? Theanine used regularly during the day helps many people with unremitting stress and allows for 'coping' without making you sleepy... and some tell me that it helps at the onset of AF as well. Certainly, the Cram Mg Dosing becomes even more critical as we all know. I increased my Ubiby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

GE - as EB mentions, Dr. Schweikert is an outstanding EP... was right-hand man to Dr. Natale when they were both at the Cleveland Clinic. Now that Dr. Schweikert is in the Akron area, you could shave 60 to 90 minutes or more off your trip to the Main Campus CCF... Dr. Schweikert enjoys an outstanding reputation and if I were unable to get to Dr. Natale in Texas, I'd see him in Akron. Tomby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Shannon - Thanks for taking the time to tell your latest news and relate your four-year saga. I agree that your diligence and The Strategy and your heroics with the Magnesium infusions bought you some time and I'm confidently optimistic that this next procedure will be that last little tweak Dr. Natale needs to complete the original and that you will not need life-long anticoagulantsby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Regarding the “curing cancer comment”… no physician today would dare risk making such a claim and expect to continue to hold his license. However, as outlined in the Alkalinity/Inside Story post, Dr. Tennant explains that cell voltage equals pH and that voltage/pH ranges from minus 50 millivolts which equates to the ability to make new cells down to plus 30 mv which supports cancer.
