Paul - My vote would be for Dr. Natale in Austin. The reports from those using that facility (and obviously, Dr. Natale) have been excellent, as expected. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jerry - that's why it's useful to have a Comprehensive Metabolic Profile done periodically so that you see the exact utilization of all the specific nutrients, amino acids, minerals, etc..and if you are over or under the recommended levels whether you take supplements or not. Several labs offer these but you have to find a practitioner to order them. Genova Diagnostics and Metametricsby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Susan - just be sure that the MRI adequately defines the PVs and calcifications. I know they use a specific coronary calcification CT scan procedure but whether it works for PVs, I don't know. Also check carefully to learn if the PV stenting procedures and success rates have improved. There has been discussion over the years that PV stenting is risky and a difficult procedure. While I love the immediate effects of magnesium gel, I don't like the fact I have to wait around with sticky skin until it's absorbed and then I can wash it off and get moving. Magnesium soaks, foot baths and the gel definitely offer another method of getting magnesium into the blood while circumventing the intestinal absorption issue. Apparently, though, it's still possible toby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
EB - One would think that would be long enough to healthy-up the cell envelopes...as long as you corrected diet along with the Omega 3's. My MD had me taking 6 grams a day. It certainly would not hurt you to try the transdermal application. It's just sticky but you can wash it off after 20 minutes or so because it goes right in quickly. I'm for whatever works. Gregg - Sorry to see your post. Couple of comments. Once you are back in NSR, I'd try not using arginine and carnitine. I found both of them to be too stimulating for me before my ablation. Also, while you have been using both magnesium and potassium, that says nothing to me about your sodium intake relative to potassium (ratio)... or if your magnesium level is where it should be. Bill - both high and low TSH can influence afib. That's in the literature. Your very low (0.18) could definitely be a factor. When mine dipped to .40, I had some blips so I try to keep it around 1.0.... but that said, the TSH measurement is not the only criteria and as we've discussed frequently, it's difficult to find doctors who fully understand the entire thyroid picture.by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi John - Yes, definitely - my little blips occurred a couple times a year until I focused strenuously on the high potassium low sodium ratio (4:1 minimum) dietary intake.
