Isabelle - the most effective solution I'd recommend is getting the audio presentation by Wayne Dyer... "There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem".... don't let the title put you off... it's not a religious piece although it does address spirituality. I have recommended this to many people who have found it extremely beneficial in conquering reactions such as youby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Whether or not alcohol acts as a trigger may be highly individualized depending on that persons magnesium and potassium stores since alcohol depletes both and is involved in glucose handling when alcohol is metabolized. The quantity of alcohol consumed and the history of consumption habits are considerations as well. While it may be a gluten sensitivity in some who find beer a trigger, moreby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

While Natural Calm is a really nice way to take a minor amount of magnesium for a calming effect, the calcium may not do you any good. Dan - of course it isn't as simplistic as saying all migraines are caused by foods, but offending foods can be contributory. Sensitivities to foods come from repeated exposure - typically through intestinal permeability and the buildup in the blood of antibodies to specific antigens. I've read itching is common during detoxification although it certainly could have been a reaction to the plastic bag. Nick - knowledge is power and so, knowledge is health. Those plastic molecules that come off in the food when heated aren't essential nutrients for the body. In fact, the body really doesn't know what to do with them. With enough accumulation, there can be health consequences even if it is 'only' the extra burden from detoxification. Cherie~. I cringe when I see the ingredients of these bowel preps that we must ingest. As I mentioned, Ive had at least 3 colonoscopies with Colyte that did not cause arrhythmia. The non-sparing version, caused immediate arrhythmia. Perhaps your reaction to the GoLytely was the preservatives? Yet others have posted success with that product. No argument from me about the value of exercise. Extremely important to be active in moderation and to formally work all the muscle groups plus get aerobic benefits as well. No question...use it or lose it. If it's a plastic bottle, that could be part of the problem since the BisPhenol A in plastic leaches chemicals especially when hot. Nick - we've discussed at length the risks of going into AF when doing the bowel prep for colonoscopy and I believe it was in the archived BB before this session. Short version: Ask for the cleanout that spares the electrolytes. Many of the bowel preps are high in sodium which depletes your potassium and then triggers AF.
