Thanks for your post, Barb - I still stand on my issue of concern over free- glutamate content of either product.... not only as excitotoxic for heart cells, but also the brain. I don't think that small amount of calcium will matter much as it's the poorly absorbed form (carbonate) especially if well balanced out with supplemental magnesium. Alex - For my own convenience but still getting in 6000 FU a day, I take 3 (1000 ea) capsules in the morning after breakfast and 3 at bedtime on an empty stomach. Note the instructions from Dr. Holsworth below. Here's an explanatory interview with Dr. Holworth (who I consider to be the leading nattokinase expert in the US). Note that the dosage of 6000 FUs a day is for those considered "actby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Barb I wasnt initially interested in the ProStolic product until I read this discussion and wondered exactly what was in ProStolic. From one of the webpages: The natural bioactive hydrolyzed casein (a combination of tripeptides IPP and VPP) is an active ingredient included in the proprietary blend in Melaleuca's ProStolic. These tripeptides are derived from nonfat milk casein, and have beenby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
I did the shaving when I was weaning off after my ablation just because I didn't want to rock the boat. But I stopped cold turkey (as instructed) prior to my ablation and did not go into arrhythmia spontaneously which was my big fear. I think since one can take it PIP, then stopping abruptly is not an issue, apparently. Earlier thinking may have entertained that notion. I've takeby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

In cases where ablation burns or lesions aren't deep enough or complete where gaps are left in the lines supposed to be continuous, some impulses can leak through and cause arrhythmias.
