I need some help. I'm accessing this BB easily and quickly using the password Hans has provided. When I go to the Conference Room or go back into the Archives, I get multiple pop up boxes that repeat the password request again and again, even though it is completed and checked. Any idea why this is happening? Appreciate any suggestions. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Further to that thought - check this: Blackouts The clinician needs to find out what a patient means by a blackout. They usually mean one of the following (syncope and dizziness are common problems, especially in the elderly): 1 Syncope Reflex-mediated syncope or orthostatic hypotension - the commonest causes of syncope and account for at least one third of all episodes. 2 Orthostatic hypoteby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Brian - I'm not a doctor nor am I a pharmacist, but what I know about Flecanide is that 300 mg. is a large dose to take at one time. Additionally, when I was first put on Flecanide at the Cleveland Clinic - the only way they would do this is to hospitalize me for several days to make sure I was compatible with the drug as it can have fatal side effects. Iodine is important in the function of the thyroid gland. If you haven't had a complete thyroid profile done, then you should consult with an endocrinologist who understands the relevance of this and how it can relate to afib. Wil - you point out something important. Those taste enhancers contribute to addiction or cravings for those foods. The food industry know how to keep them coming back for more (and more). Pam - if you make an Asian dish at home without prepared/packaged/bottled sauces on it, you can avoid the problem of hidden MSG. Otherwise, most Asian dishes will have some form of the free glutamate or something derived from soy that translates to that. Liz - These beats after ablation just seem to happen and eventually, do go away...or we learn to ignore them. They are far less disturbing than afib, itself. I think the reason so many people write and discuss the ectopy - either PVCs or PACs after ablation- is that we expect our hearts to be calm and cured, and when we get the ripples that in the past would be the signal of oncoming afibby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
