The increasing incidence of AF has been has been discussed in many previous posts…often referenced as a ‘disease of civilization’… …..indicating that the food supply has become with time more deficient in core nutrients. This includes both soil nutrient depletion plus the abundance of packaged, processed, convenience food consumption as the norm. Even whole, fresh fruits and vegetables haveby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Rosemarie ~ I am so glad you are doing well and enjoying life in NSR. It's good of you to report your success story. Be well, Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Murray - Congrats on your progress and more proof that the core electrolytes do work. I'm sure your find your efforts most gratifying. (I believe Shannon meant to say Dr. Atul Verma) Best to you, Murray. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Duke - if your intracellular magnesium levels are well-optimized, then eating some cheese as you did with your 'sampling' should not be an issue....although, if you check some of the labels for sodium content, you may be surprised at the variations in sodium... some are quite high; yet others are amazingly low. There again, if your potassium levels are low along with magnesium, then boby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
John C - I don't see the antibodies were tested nor the Reverse T3. The TSH...is definitely higher than the new guidelines for 'normal' ...which is 3.0...so you do have some thyroid 'hypo' involvement... it would be good to know about the antibodies as well. Barb - Electrolytes and the ions they form involve electrical conductivity. When there is insufficient supply, the effects will show up as skipped or missed beats which for some can eventually turn into Afib. As mentioned in the Cardiac Fibrosis discussions, the excess tissue (fibrosos) causes a physical interference between the cells therefore causes electrical conductivity interference as wby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello John - I'm glad you found this physician and I certainly hope you are able to make progress in finding the source of the trembling.... at least, if nothing else, to rule out thyroid involvement. A consideration also is stealth infections since they often eventually cause auto-immune thyroiditis as discussed in the recent 'hypo-thyroid' post. Sleuthing out why the thyroid gland is not functioning optimally is the challenge. Thyroid hormone imbalances have a variety of causes. It can be an iodine deficiency, adrenals shutting down, toxicity from mercury, fluoride or other environmental toxins or auto-immune involvement… all of which affect the thyroid. Mercury is a big trigger of auto-immunity and is known as a thyroid disruptor.by Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks, Nancy - I have yet to read all the valuable info at Oram Miller's website... but I do recall his commenting about the rupturing of cells and leaking of magnesium ... Susan - Good to see you posting. I am so pleased that you are progressing nicely, post-ablation. My protocols in The Strategy came about as a result of AF breakthrough in years 4, 5 and 6 because apparently it's easy for me to become depleted in the essential electrolytes and several other core nutrients needed for heart electrical conduction stability. Iatrogenia - My post-ablation experiences with PACs and actual AF breakthroughs occurred as a result of low intracellular electrolytes... marginally low on magnesium and definitely low on potassium and confirmed by Exatest evaluations. When I had my heart flareup after the Lyme and EBV diagnosis, I began consulting with Dr. Schweikert since 2012. He has done electrocardioversions for me as needed. Jackieby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM
