Perhaps that would explain the rush on Natto in Japan, who have a low incidence of Covid 19. Just 5000 infected and 88 deaths, to date. They also have the oldest people in the world. Hmmm, I wonder if Natto is dissolving their clots?by colindo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

QuoteATS My electrophysiologist told me that, considering my risk profile (blood chemistry, cardiovascular condition, etc.) I do not need an anticoagulant. I will follow her judgement on this. My regular cardiologist said the same. I take aspirin during episodes to make my GP happy, although there is not much science to support its value. I also take four grams of fish oil daily. Quotesafib I have eliminated Vitamin D supplementation and obtain Mg at RDA levels with only slight supplementation (100-200 mg of an absorbable form). It seems based on the article that increased Mg could increase the rate of Vitamin D conversion to active form and subsequently increase absorption of Ca in the gut (from food or supplements), resulting in higher serum ionized Ca with potentialby colindo - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteNotLyingAboutMyAfib Right now I want to remove as much calcium as possible from my tissues and arteries by avoiding calcium, D and excess O3 PUFA. I'll worry about bones later but even then it may not be a problem. Fetuin-a, matrix GLA protein and BMP2 work together to shuttle calcium from where it doesn't belong (heart tissue and arteries) to where it does belong (bones). Vby colindo - AFIBBERS FORUM
NotLying, Sounds like you have tried a lot things. Just wondering if you are taking vitamin C? Why I ask is because since covid19 I have started taking 1500mg liposomal vitamin C (Dr Mercola brand) daily and I think my heart is a lot stronger, touch wood. Maybe there is some science about this. I to am a bit shy of taking too much vitamin D, because after taking just 10000 IU and sun eby colindo - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Steve, just wondering if your protocol is more suited for afibbers who get ectopic? I don't. I found that shortly after taking 5000 iu of vitamin D once a day I got an unusual short bout of afib, like 10 minutes, and that was at 6 am in the morning. In 10 years I have never had afib at that time of the day before. My vit.D blood test were low 24 ng/dl (60 nmol/L), which is consiby colindo - AFIBBERS FORUM

Liz, I don't think natto will help your afib much because if sounds like you are too far advanced. In saying that natto is very high in vitamin K2 and has lots of other benifits. I wouldn't be over doing vitamin D unless you get a test done first. I think Dr John Day advice on vitamin D is good advise.by colindo - AFIBBERS FORUM
