Dear Oxik, I'm very sorry to hear of your very unfortunate stroke experienced by your husband and indeed your family! Did your husband have an embolic stroke which sounds more likely with the timing after the long 3.5 week AFIB episode, or was is a possible hemmorhagic stroke which I bring up only because you mention he was having bleeding and then one of his docs started him on Warfarin.by Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Welcome Mdep, and many thanks, You just need to used the HAN815 code and from using that code we get a small but helpful commission on the orders made via Iherb. For the buyer there is a modest added discount the first time the code is used, bait all subsequent orders using the code you will just st be helping us, while benefiting from the discounts you can earn directly from Iherb too. Yes Liz, It's another derivation of non-invasive phase mapping vest using a similar approach to the Cardio-insight vest but with differences too in the algorithms applied. It's all theoretical and with the decidedly mixed results so far with FIRM and as yet no randomized controlled trial data with the Cardioinsight vest to give us any solid indication that this computational analogiby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteMcHale Dr Natale told be stay on Xarelto and not switch to Eliquis after my 2nd touch-up ablation with him....well it was more extensive then touch-up! Welcome Brent, For folks that have come to this website early on in their AFIB 'careers' and have clearly responded to our first message about first adopting any and all life style risk factor reducing efforts and protocols that might be an issue in any given afibbers life, including losing at least 10% of ones weight if they are over the top of their optimal BMI range is exceeded byby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Liz, It is a real shame to read of Bill Paxton's death, apparently from either an on-table stroke or shortly after during post-op recovery for whatever surgery he had. In either scenario the odds are very remote, indeed, that it would have been from a AFIB ablation, but not impossible of course. You should do at least a modest taper Amyorca, The rebound is not as much of an issue for most folks, as it can be with some folks with stopping a Beta Blocker cold turkey, but calcium channel blocker like Diltiazem can have some rebound like side effects when stopping abrupting. Fruitflow is an ingredient added to other foods or beverages in the form of 'Fruitflow l' which is a 'tomato-based syrup', and it is offered in a non-sugar containing powder called 'Fruitflow II' which can also be added to foods and as a supplement apparently. Hi PBqltbook, Please reread my reply just above your own and in particular the new last half that I added this morning to find answers to your question and a bit more insight into the special focus and value of this Danish study comparing low doses of all the major NOACs to each other and to Warfarin with either octogenarian's or even older folks and/or those with impaired renal function.by Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Many thanks Folks, from Magdalena and I for the best wishes for her! So far so good, with Magdalena having felt no hiccups and no runs of AF at all since her, so far, one and only documented 24 hr duration AFIB episode two weeks ago today. Travis, This is a misleading headline ... Eliquis was compared only with its half dose 2.5 mg strength compared to its 5mg full dose strength which is a full double size larger than the 2,5mg. And this is then compared relative to 15mg of Xeralto where its full dose strength is only 20mg with the lower dose being 75% as strong as the recommended full dose of 20mg. And a similar mismatch is useby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Liz, If you cannot get hold of Iherb support to help you change your password today, which is understandable on a Sunday when it's likely their support office may be closed, and you do not wish to wait until Monday to contact support for help, consider using a separate email address, if you have one or create a new one on gmail for example, in order to create a new registration on Iherb aby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
You need to speak with either your local EP or call your assigned NP St Davids and ask for a very low dose 12.5mg Toprol XL and an upper normal range daily dose of either diltiazem or verapamil Calcium channel blocker. This especially works great when you are in persistent flutter, but combining a very low dose BB with a hefty upper normal range daily dose of a CCB often works like a charm to drby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
