Ha .. the guy is going to reformulate his companies "Angel Dust" now to meet FDA rules and be less risky :-) .... Most of these are not health oriented supplement companies but are bodybuilder and extreme energy boosting supplements that, by definition, are not smart for Afibbers in any event. You are still in the blanking period Alangford, And it is possible this will subside, it could be too that there is a reconnection of the PVs as well, a reality seen often with a lot of EPs. If I had a dollar for all the ablation report from EPs around the country I have read that show significant amount of reconnections of the PVs upon repeat ablation, Id be a much richer man than I am. The problem is the money too, there is truly some real value in many of these nutrients and supplements when properly extracted and produced by reputable large nutraceutical manufacturers. With some of the docs, the hype can get carried away for sure and its very much too bad as they then make people question if some agents that really can be useful are any good at all, simply because some oveby Shannon - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Hi John, You technically could use some Natto, but would not do so unless you are closely followed by a doc who understands both Nattokinase and Eliquis and the only one I know with that experience is Dr Ralph Holsworth in Colorado. He has some patients at high risk for fibrin-related clotting that combine Eliquis with Nattokinase that are doing fine, but at this point I would not do that unlesby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Good news Travis, One reason Travis has been a bit scarce here recently, in addition to his own blog and family duties, is that he has been a big help to me in planning for the website redesign and with great tips on sorting out this recent technical hiccup with the newsletter mailing transfer process from the prior way of doing it to what will hopefully prove a much easier and more flexibleby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
HI Folks, The following is a quickly dashed off letter to Louise who had sent me this article on the LARIAT risks issue yesterday and I replied to her with the following. I do not have the time at the moment to polish it up much and so please forgive any typos etc This is yet another generalist article looking mostly in the rear view mirror and not at current practices with, in this case tby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes everyone on any blood thinner, like Warfarin, or any of the NOACs in particularly and even Plavix should absolutely wear a bracelet or neck chain with a Medical alert emblem noticing any first responders what you are taking. Hi Paul, As Ken and George noted above, you do need to be off of Flec 5 full days prior to start of your ablation time so the coast is clear,. Dr Natale then will have no trouble at all Getting your AFIB Rockin' and Rollin' with either pacing during the initial EP study portion of the ablation of with a good dose of Isuprel (isoproterenol) super adrenaline/like drug. Hi JohnBM , Yes I do hear you on this. One would have hoped the at least three way feud between Steve Jobs, Microsoft and Adobe would have defused into better cooperation and compatibility after Jobs death and Bill Gates moving to philanthropy, but I guess the 'not invented here' and 'protect our turf' mentality still reigns supreme despite the nightmares it can cause the rby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Alexe, No need to over do things either , but this is just for some general Prevention or to keep blood viscosity low as we get older, just two to three 100mg Cardiokinase .. One every 8 to 12 hours ... or substituting lumbrokinase ... Should be sufficient. Great to hear Nick, I know that you, like a number of us really old timers, is an official member of the 'Ancient Afibbers club'. .. meaning not so much old age, but having dealt with the progressive nature of the beast for around a quarter of a century at least. very good point about that procedure time Lasik1. A really top tier elite ablationist is a fluid machine that flows from one movement to the next and us a joy to watch perform. I only wish they would do videos of our ablations so you could watch your EP at work ... Good deal Louise, I was hoping we were right ... and I recall now your visit with Dr Natale, and your experience there is just one more reason we urge anyone who can to go see him for at least an honest evaluation of their situation. Hi Louise, That sounds like a scary episode of something, and while your symptoms are not entirely consistent with an MI, they can manifest in a wide array of symptoms and it's always worth checking out especially for those of us with known cardiac issues of any kind. It could well also be a GI-related issue and with your apparent unfamiliarity with such things that can be the case thatby Shannon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Lix, No doubt that is true that a fair number of people, but decidedly still very much a distinct minority, can get away with what for the rest of us would likely result in an early grave or thee last coupe of decades of wallowing in decrepitude. A quick word here a few keep mentioning, but this idea that folks with a skilled ablationist behind the catheters should fret greatly about the ablation scars somehow causing some major damage to your heart function off in the distant future is a theory skating on very thin ice.
