Here's what the Pharmacy Times says about cannabis/drug interactions: Notice that they list lots of "potential" interactions, They mention one case of warfarin increased response in a patient who smoked THC but not if the patient ingested it orally. It also discusses the interaction with CYP450 enzymes mentioned earlier in this thread. Godonby ggheld - AFIBBERS FORUM

The Threonate supposedly relaxes the brain more since more of it gets to the brain faster which helps things like sleep, but it doesn't do that for me. I take 600 mg/day of each,- no bathroom issues. Hi Colin: Thanks for the thoughts and research, particularly adding Vitamin K2. Do you know any good way to make natto taste good or even palatable? Seems like adding a few drops of K2 to my daily Carlson's fish oil would be a more practical solution for me. It would be wonderful to eliminate dribbling, too. During my prox. 15 years on this Board I've learned a great deal about my Afib, found solutions like Dr. Natale, exchanged ideas, resources and in general found Afibber's Forum to be the single best source of information, knowledge and support in successfully treating my Afib, and I'll be eternally grateful for all the information flow. Great Summary, Carey: I was always told that the major fear of afib is stroke from inadequate prescribing, compliance or monitoring of blood coagulation medications, not heart issues. At that time Warfarin was the only prescriptive choice so hopefully the newer meds have a wider protection range so stroke is no longer as feared. Certainly compliance is easier with the new drugs but that couby ggheld - AFIBBERS FORUM

Both my wife, a non-afibber, and myself, an ablated former afibber, have tried CBD in various forms; oil, suppositories, consumables, vaping, for insomnia and pain without noticing any effect so we gave it up a year or so ago. I took Amiodarone for perhaps two years until the iodine in it hyped my thyroid so high that it burned out. I had to take thyroid lowering medication then start Naturethroid once the iodine was gone. I'm still on the Naturethroid and will always be. This was 20 years ago so there wasn't as much data in on Amiodarone as now exists.
